Neon, I have no idea what you're playing in if you're still seeing gunchairs. I've wandered down into t4 with a railbot recently and haven't seen any of those things in ages.

I think they fixed that ages ago, now a single armor block will probably raise your tier to one or two below the armor tier itself. Add a second one or a single weapon and you're probably at tier.

Since you can presumably get more kills per mission, since you can respawn, does that translate into faster leveling up? RP or money or XP or whatever.

Well, I recently got 220k from a match, I've advanced at least 4 levels in the past week or so. I would say regular battle definitely improves resource availability.

I was under the impression Curse started as a League of Legends site, then expanded into other wiki's and minecraft, and voice ect.

Yeah it seems it was founded in 2006, as a WoW site.

Is Helium ever going to be viable for blimps, or am I better of just focusing on rotors?

Focus on rotors until you're T10. You're best off spending your limited resources to secure you more resources.

Yes, although you will find it can be unstable at times and each helium cube adds drag to the robot which can slow you down a bit. There is also the thing that it will have an abnormally high requirement to use. It is honestly the masochistic way of building a flier with the only benefit of no easy to shoot off wings or rotors. Winged fliers will go far faster then the best I've created, rotors can also keep up with what I've built. The design I use is 4 tier 10 thrusters to provide forward movement, 4 tier 4 thrusters for turning, 8 tier 6/8 thrusters for vertical movement and finally 2 tier 6 thrusters for reverse movement. Edit: the larger vertical thrusters are place closer to the front to essentially point the robot, allowing for the forward movement to assist in climbing, it is very possible to build it more like a rocket then a blimp if you unballance the thrusters to either the front of or behind the center of mass.

It's seems they're trying to make helium as obsolete as possible.

Well, it requires a high amount of skill to make them and an almost equal amount of skill to continue flying it after it has been damaged. There is still a bit of skill vs reward in it...until your trying to make a maxed out vehicle in which you cannot fit anywhere near as much armor because it takes a large amount of pflops for the helium AND for the thrusters. However...I've yet to see any vehicles use skis.

Just started playing this game. Got rid of the starting vehicle because it seems to be designed to offer you as little protection as possible. Built a new SMG cruiser (designation; Sm3gmaBot) with a total of 8 SMGs (6 top mounted, 2 front-mounted tier 2s) + 2 radar. The new design also armors over the wheels, so people stop disabling me every 5 minutes, and adds an armored core around the pilot seat (which has been moved to the back to make the front armor thicker, seeing as I have front-mounted guns now).

Not sure if it's worth incorporating radar jammers now or just saving up for tier 2 top-mounted SMGs. I also have to go over it and replace some of the light chasis blocks with heavy chasis, seeing as we're already fast enough, damnit.

So i finally decided to go ahead and grab this game.

I have no idea what i'm doing, lol.
I played around with designing a buggy with smgs (really the only thing you start with) and made the "Leeroy" Mk1, cuz it's got very heavy front armor (3 blocks thick) and the wheels are protected by 1 layer, and it has 6 Mk1 Smg turrets mounted. The entire design was made to rush a target head-on while holding down the fire button and basically hoping you kill them before they kill you. It actually worked in the match i tried it; died less than i killed and i was able to gun down the enemy generator thing while surviving.

One thing, tho. What i want to know is if you actually lose blocks on each death, and if i have to actually purchase the blocks in bulk again to replace my losses.
