Nice design, SHADOWdump!

Rotors have disappointingly small lift, though they're still pretty cool. Here's one I made hoping to make a compact and redundant helicopter that could still fly with the big rotor blown off:

I know this. A lot of the time you cannot rely completely on the rotors for lift unless your craft is very tiny, but they help a lot and work in a way that often is superior to helium.

So I've also made a helicopter, though a medic. It tends to either get blown up by some sneaky bastard's rail shot, or end up on the ground intact, but missing at least 3 rotors and most of the electroplates undestroyed somehow. Newly reached T6.

Rise from the dead!

So I have this heavily armored and ugly sniper. I was in a challenge, fired at an enemy sniper and took off one of his guns. Not bad, but when I started retreating to reload, he noticed me and hit me, luckily in the spot I built specifically to protect my gun. So here is how the damage spread:

Half of my bot was vaporized, my steering wheels were destroyed and the railgun was dangling on a three block line, but it survived! I retreated as far as I could, then one shotted a bomber.

The (Tri)Force was with me today.

Speaking of damage, there's one design thing that you can exploit in TX battle - some (probably many) megabots don't realise how limited their arcs of fire can get. If you can close the distance and park yourself in those dead zones, you have an excellent advantage in combat, since their shots are being blocked by their own bot.

Oh man, just read about the new meta and I'm so hyped right now. I've played Robocraft for 40 hours so far and it's starting to become boring.

I have no idea what precisely a MOBA is meant to be so I don't know.

Think Dota. Or Fractured Space. Come to think of it, the new core game mode mechanics are pretty similar to Fractured Space mechanics.

In defence of MOBAs and new maps, it's pretty tricky to make a new map without significantly altering balance or gameplay. Eg in Dota 2, it was hard enough to modify the original map without changing the power balance just based on which team you start on. Hopefully this won't be a big hindrance to Robocraft though, since there's no Roshan equivalent causing map asymmetry.

The main issue is I have never heard of Fractured Space and I try not to look too deeply into Dota.
