The only place where rails are probably flat-out worse than SMGs is when you're playing as a boss, since any random SMG shot will still cripple the enemy vehicles.

Also, I'm 'LimeTorment' in game. Please add me, I want a chance to play with people who aren't mental invalids. Seriously, I will never again play medic, it's like trying to prop up a house made of mud in a typhoon.

Huh, I've noticed the medic issues dealing with teams, but I've really discovered the joys of nanos when it comes to grinding cash and cpu. In my tier 5 healbot, I'm consistently making more rp than my t6 plasma sat(though on a good game my sat makes larger chunks of money)

I have a t1, a t2, a flying medic in t5 (don't ask) and two t10 (walker rail and hover smg)

So I've been working on a rail flier for T6...

So much fun. You can level out at your equilibrium altitude in around 20-25 seconds, it's fast in straight lines, turns on a dime, and is absurdly stable thanks to the top-loaded helium and cluster of vertical surface pieces in the rear. And then it has four T7 railguns. I've even managed to keep it flying stable and straight after having half of it blown off.

T6 electroplates make a world of difference to my hodgepodge of lower tier plates in trying to protect my sat. I just now gotta get t6s for the back half, then I'll probably have enough tokens by then to unlock t7 plasma

One good shot from my SMG tank would knock it out of the sky.

Then it's just a matter of who gets to it first. Your team's medics or me.

Tolerances are too tight to really add any real bottom plating, so I'm relying on the cant of the t6's to mitigate this somewhat-I'm also cpu-limited at the moment

Edit: Remember me mentioning the joys of nanos? Well I finally finished of completely t6ing my healbot so here is the Asclepius:

You can only see two nanos in that screenshot, but I have five at the moment, and working on the sixth. then it's on to completing upgrading to t7 hovers(you can see the two in the middle)

The only question I have is if it would be a good idea to topmount the last two nanos so I can heal/unheal any fliers that come near me. (It's only a qestion because when I topmounted originally, and every time I flip, I had trouble keeping the heal beam on target due to it hitting my bot)

I'm loving my dirigible more and more.

After upgrading the armor and repositioning stuff, I can actually survive more than one hit now.

Also I've discovered that elecroplates don't block your own guns if they're close enough. I did extensive testing, and the configuration shown here works great.

Sadly, I can't put more on because I'm out of CPU. Also overweight. I need to press space to fly at all.

Protip:Inner blocks work just as well as regular blocks but weigh on average 33% less. The only downside is that you look a little funky with a line of inners

Side mount.  They'll be able to aim up and down, so you'll be mostly healing tanks but also able to hit fliers with at least two of your lasers, as well as able to hit ground tanks with the same two.

Now I can finally move around again! And this is proving to be a very viable design.

But... one hit to the front of the midsection, and the entire front half would break off. A second shot would probably separate the pilot and destroy the entire vehicle.

And actually, now that I shed some weight, I can address those issues. But at least I'm no longer dying in one hit.
