The rate at which users progress by earning rp can easily be controlled independantly from repair, it just feels redundant to ask people to wait for x mins until a repair is completed, or pay to repair instantly.

It can also punnish you for playing extremely well, i.e. You can kill a lot of other robots but take a lot of damage, so it ends up being bitter sweet. Where as if you play really well it should always be ‘sweet’

We never intended for the repair system to drive gameplay in the way it has and it has created some negative side effects.

got bored by my t10.
there isnt realy anything left to improve, aside of building it new from the scratch for "fun".

Try building a jet fighter.
From my limited experience i can safely conclude that flyers would be the dominant force IF more people knew how to build them.

meh.
from what i see they hardly ever can realy influence the outcome of a battle.
they stay high out of range, and if the target is distracted they do some pod shots and then run away again.
not a big fan of this gameplay. i like this game for the brawls :)
still, i may give it a try at some point.

Got dumped into a boss game as the boss and won.

Seriously, if you ever go up against a boss, stick together and dont trickle in one-by-one.

Depends on the tier, the strategy is that, you get a couple good shoot in critical locations - but the effect on a t5+ robot is limited as you need to chew quite some armor. On a t3 instead...

yes... as boss you need the opposing team to be stupid to have a chance to win.

Unless you are a flyer with higher tier guns that let him fly above everyone and rain death with impunity.
The only problem then is shooting them fase enough as they try to cap your base.

won a T6 vs 12 T2 match. was pretty epic, maiming them and then letting them rot while I picked other targets.

My problem with the 200 MB install may just be a poorly designed installer. After it accidentally closed, it restarted from the beginning again; all 36 hours of it. It did finish, though, and the hangar/tank editor seems to work fine with no lag; haven't gone into a match to see if the actual competitive portion lags, though.

Well, it's either my internet, the installer, or a combination of both. I know TF2 (edit: and Borderlands 2) works with light lag, so it must be the third option.

Hit P. if the practice zone lags, people's ridiculous bots will lag slightly more.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

well. "get a better computer" rarely is helpfull.
blaming the game that your connection will take 36h to download 200mb is entirely retarded tho.
and yeah... the game is pre alpha and indie.
complaining that its not as optimized as a game like borderlands 2 is even more retarded.
you could complain as well that your bicycle wont break the 200mph mark even if you soak it in cerosine.
