Not very visible, but the guy on the right had 13 guns.

More guns only improves fire rate up to 5 of them; after that, they are basically redundant (except as armor).

It's so there's always more after some get blown off, makes it hard to be disarmed.

yeah. tho... guns require lots of open space on a bot.
so, more easy to get blown to bits with so many guns.

well...i have quite a bit of redundancy on my flier, for example if one of the main thrusters gets destroyed, its linked to a block that will destroy the other one...it isn't perfect and i've had it leave only one...once out of 20 times one went out since I installed it, i'm also very adept at flying with a partially damaged craft, one case where 85% of my robot was gone but i had 3 thrusters and a gun and still managed to kill 3 other robots to win the round. If it makes you feel any better I'm about 50% done with level 5 armor on my craft.

Yeah my craft has a ton of redundancy, and redundancy is really the way to go. It's mostly a hover tank but I can launch myself off of a mountain and use it as a flier as long as it is pristine. It also has 4 tier 1 steering wheels which as long as I have 2 wheels and 2 rockets or 2 wheels and a rotor I can use it as a ground based vehicle.

i confess, that proably is the weakpoint of my design.
2 engine wheels and 2 combi wheels. i could do with 3 of them, but usually if i  lose one, i lose two.
