yeah, turrets are better- but then, i do have some lamps, i had to buy more (and better) turrets.

I assume there are going to be dark maps, or maps which have varying times of day later on, though.

meh. on darker maps, lamps would be even more fatal to fit... everybody would see you from far. bets target marker ever.
so, thats why i fit my lams in a way that they dont produce a lightsource on my robot

btw, you get rp from kills.
 if you kill more then one robot, the damage you inflicted will be multiplied by something.
very small something on low tier, but now in tier 4 it can be quite substatial already.

I wish you'd gain more RP for kills. Sometime I kill 3 other bots, and I gain less XP than if I had gone around the enemies and sat on their base for the base capture XP...

I wish that there was RP given for damage.

in games where i dont inflict damage, but just like capture the base, i will see a plain 0 there.

So I guess damage DOES give RP. However, it is barely any usually.

as said, seems to scale with tier, and its not applied for the first kill.

Ok, so higher tier is the way to go.

so it seems. this is tier4, where i am kind of stuck.
i do have 4 l4s guns, tier3s propulsion, the best radar and mostly green with a good chuck of orange and some blue armor.
im maby a third to tier5.
armor cubes give a lot of tier score, but they are very expensive: 1k for a single blue cube.
next i will buy tier 5s wheels tho. but thats even more expensive: 18.5k for one and i need 4.
doesnt give  very much tier rating neither. i doubt it will push me to tier5.
but hell.... who needs tier5 @118 mph

armor reasons, tier 5s propulsion is very tough, and if you do have enough then you can zoom around the map faster then most others, however it does cost some 18k for each one.

My hovercraft has 8 rotors, so it's hard to take down, although it can lose its hill climbing ability. Also, all the rotors are 1s and partially protected by green wedges.

I decided to get the more advanced rotors (about L3S or so) and I can go quite fast.

Can I just say that, as a general rule, fliers are based on thrusters, not hover blades. Hover blades are for hover tanks.

Hovers are good for low-flying fliers, though, if you use the stronger hover blades, and they provide more control. The really high flyers still need thrusters, though.
