It is, considering that "free" and "block-based" are about as broad as it gets. This is literally nothing like DF.

Saw a cool design today: a raised platform  with guns on tops like a miradore on wheels. Of course, you're going to think "That's stupid, you just need to shoot the supports and it'll collapse!" but no! The top part, when severed from its base, is actually a flier!

It'd be cool if you had blocks that you could self-destruct, so for exemple you can jettison parts of your craft to get away with a smaller craft.

Whoever says that high fliers are balanced is wrong. I just love being shot to bits in a few shots before I can do anything about it!

I myself play a flyer, and atleast in the T1 matches I've played so far, it is extremely easy to mess up someone's day without them being able to hit back.

T1 is really full of this new players  haven't any real armor or weapons and are slow moving, so one well placed shot will mess them up.

If you want to hit the thing floating at the very edge of your range, you have to stand still or you'll miss.

E: Either way, my thrusters and L2S hover blades make me go faster than most wheeled vehicles... Hehehe.

I've seen a change in the average design, away from small speeder and toward larger tanks. Maybe more new people coming in.

I'm considering switching myself, since for some reasons upgrading my wheels made my bot more prone to flipping and harder to control.

I'm loving my hoverbot, especially since I upgraded to all t3 front guns. I'm raping face even in t3 matches right now(though I have to be more opportunistic in t3)
