So here is my Malbork-class tank. (previously known as Citadel and Armordillo )
It's fairly bulky and relatively safe, what with the armored cockpit tower.
It also has thrusters in-between the wheels for no apparent reason (since it doesn't seem to give me much extra speed, so I might either ditch them or flip them upwards for a flying tank )

Guessing you have motor wheels on that?

If so turn all of em into steering wheels...the motor wheels cap the speed

I had
motor - dual - dual (from back to front)

now I have
steer S - dual - dual

I can turn on a dime now, that's for sure.
And you meant steer or dual drive? Since that makes a difference.

EDIT: I've actually changed it to
dual - steer S - dual
Simply because it just feels better overall, even for someone with as little knowledge as me.

Motor wheels do slow ya down once you get past the wheels max speed

Ok so i tried making a hovercraft and fialed badly... in facti don't think making flying vehicles is even viable since the standard blades are so SLOW that making a fast but flimsy attack craft is right out of the question because whatever you do you will get a flimsy AND slow attack craft... and at that point you should just use wheels and mount heavy armor.

Hm, if it's small enough, it can work. I'm not sure it's better than wheeled vehicles though, but that's probably due to low tier. On the other hand, I find that hovercrafts can use less blocks. If you put better hoverblades and thrusters on them, it could go quite fast.

Rocketships are really fun to fly since it really throws off ground forces when either A. 3 robots try to shoot at me while my team goes after them or B. everyone ignores me and i get to bombard robots who's top area is the weakest.

Having the same problem. I'll log in and play a match or two fine, but then i'll be disconnected and won't be able to play anymore. Was working fine before.

here's the turtle. it fares ok in low tier battles. I need to change the lateral belt with better armor, but tech points are few to come by.

I might upgrade to premium if the price is right - not to get more points but to give support to a game I like.

Damn, greatorder's hovercraft just slaugthered my truck. Guess I really need to upgrade my robots (so far, everything is still with tier 1 materials, except some thrusters and a few lasers). I probably need better armor, but for now I've mainly researched hover and thrusters.

As it turns out, that flyer trick with just a gun and a chair apparently doesn't work anymore. You can't aim down to get yourself in the air initially.
