ollobrains, the effort is commendable, but really, do you expect everyone to visit this generic thread every day/hour of their lives and scan through multiple posts on the vague chance that one of their (probably hundreds) of games might have updated lately? How on earth is this thread useful? Ain't nobody got time fer that.
What is much, much more likely to happen, is they will be reading the main thread for their game and see a new post there telling them about an update to that game.
Discounting for a moment the fact that most people own the majority of their games on Steam these days, and for older games not on Steam, the likelyhood of new patches appearing out of the blue is rare;
Also discounting how many games have an auto-patching system so that players don't even need to think about these things;
I seriously doubt that you are going to keep the OP updated beyond a day or two of this posting. You'll get bored, move on, and nothing here will ever be relevant to anyone. You're not even keeping a list in the OP already, so you've failed even before you started.
It's cool that you're trying to do something helpful for the community, it really is. You're an awesome person! But there are better ways to do it. There is a complete lack of organisation in this idea, and you're best spending your time doing something else.
