I'm going to assume Guy has already done as I asked and put the dwarf in bed because he had plenty of time to do so while I was searching through the storeroom,

Yes, the dwarf is back in bed.

From the door, you hear a voice. You recognize it as the man who gave you directions to this place. "Alaris? Wha-oh, yes. I gave you his address. Where's Oskar? I need to talk to him."

Gregory, you round the corner, fists at the ready, and come face to face with the young man from the sketch. He jumps back a little. "Woah. You scared me there." Then he notices your Coalition insignia, and murmurs a little "ohshit" under his breath, before calm returns to his face.

[Remuthra]

YOU!

I tackle him! Grapple time!

You tackle him, knocking the wind out of him. You are grappling.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU-mmmmmpppphhhhh! MMPPPPHHHH!!!"

"Can't say I do. I can cast sleep again, but then we can't ask him anything. Just hold him for me, I'll do the talking."
Alaris shows the wanted poster to Elias.
"Looks awfully familiar, doesn't he?"

Elias has a smug grin on his face. "Hmmm... looks familiar... can't remember where I know him from... OH, wait, yes, that's me! What's it say I'm accused of? Is that murder? I can't quite see, because of your partner here."

[Remuthra]

Alaris looks back to Elias.
"Here's what I don't understand... Why would you tip me off to a murder you committed?"

"Mmmmppphhhhh, mpphhhhh mppppphhhh."

"Alright, fine. Let's take him to the station. They've probably got an anti magic field we could question him in."

He struggles free enough to speak once more:
"I don't think that's strictly necessary."
Gregory felt another mind tugging in his own, but forces it out with ease. This was no magic... this is something different. It felt like something that you've only heard about: psionics.
Alaris is convinced that that was actually a terrible idea.

((Guess who rolled a 20, and guess who rolled a 1.))

Gregory's face curls into a snarl of rage as he feels the touch of the hostile mind. The thought that his actions might be controlled by another, that his very destiny might be manipulated, fills him with just anger. His massive fist tightens about Elias' neck, and he begins to crush the man he perceives as the meddling psion. Gregory spits out his words between bared teeth, his voice rising to a shout.

"Manipulative murderous half-bred demon-spawned PUPPETMASTER! YOU DARE TO TINKER WITH THE WORKINGS OF MY MIND, TO READ MY THOUGHTS, TO VIOLATE THE LAST THING THAT IS MY OWN?"

At that moment his voice drops, yet somehow becomes more dangerous.

"There's no place in this life or any other for scum such as you. You'll pay for your crimes. alright. You'll pay your recompense."

Gregory suddenly lashes out with a vicious backhanded blow to his prisoner's head, withholding none of his normally restrained lethality.
