With another cruses and verabl abuse from Raalup, the ranks of the Clan McKaus felt a bit better.

Monkey Head in the meanwhile attacked Harry, but the inspired wizzard easily evaded the attack thanks to his lightweight armor and the shield; the former let him move away from the less precise strikes and the latter blocked the more precise ones from hurting Harry.

Rider in the meanwhile directed his war raptor toward Alex, who unfortunately was more cunning that the beast. With a roar louder than any dino, Alex rushed at the reptile and smashed his polearm against the raptor's side, pushing him away and almost knocking Rider from his mount. Screaching wildly, the war raptor disobeyed his owner's orders and took him away few meters, away from that terrible ax-stick.

"Yer going down." Harry spit at the ground and rushed at Claire Oilcut, who, bending her body in impossible ways and stretching her limbs away from the trajectory of Harry's stick, managed to swiftly and easily evade the wizzard's attacks. "Bitch", he commented.

"Yo, mutant guy, hold still and don't kill me." Luke pointed the cube at his fellow comrade. The cube, after one of the button being pushed, released tiny motes of light that, with quiet buzzing noises, entered the wound of the mutant and helped it heal.

But alas! Tis was a stupid idea to tell the mutant to stand still. Next moment, a spiked club smashed from behind onto Alex's head, the long nails stabbing right through his thick skin and skull into the mushy, fragile brain. Gurgling and drooling, Alex fell onto his knees and then crashed unto the ground, the dust raising around him in a cloud.

With thunderous roar, the fiery ball of destruction zapped above the fighters and smashed into Rider's chest, sending him off his mount. He fell to the ground as his raptor screeched and ran away into the wild. All this was the doing of Cromwell Jackson and his dragon tube, and the reminder of the terrible, ancient device's power was the corpse of Rider with the blast zone at his chest still smoldering and releasing thin smoke.

Shortly afterwards, Claire Oilcut left Harry behind as her long feet took her toward her desired target - Raalup, the yelling pig-mouth of Clan McKaus. Unfortunately, the feathery lizard that Raalup was riding was rather fierce and didn't allow Claire to even come close; the jaws snapped in front of the girl only because she was quick enough to jerk and step away from the beast before it bites her face off.

Both sides are a bit lacking in numbers!
