Forum question: Any way to unsubscribe from a topic?

There's a link that shows new replies to my posts. It's handy, but what if I don't want to see replies to a particular post anymore. Is there any way to hide them from that link?

Actually... what kind of notifications do I get if I hit the "notify" link on a thread? Email? Private message? Maybe I'll just ignore the "new replies" link and use that instead...

Those buttons result in you getting emails. Trust me, it actually gets pretty annoying if you check in frequently

Well, you can choose to get daily or weekly notification e-mails instead of instant ones. Not sure how that works though.
