Bugger. I was hoping that firing a shotgun at point-blank range by punching it into someone's gut would make it count as a melee weapon. Would I get a massive accuracy bonus to counteract my poor Gun abilities if I used it in this way?

Yeah, you get a pretty good bonus for point-blank range. It would be interesting to see you miss, though.

"Take this broad side of a barn! *PUNCH!*"
The pellets miss the target entirely.

Reserved! I love post-apoc!

Do you want to join the current party, or go on your own?
Might as well join the current party. Splitting up just makes things harder for GMs. Also, I think I'm going to start with some improvised equipment, to suit the situation.

Don't worry, I don't need a deadline. Looks like we're going to have an all girl's squad.

As far as I know, yes! I should probably take some more things, but eh. I'll improvise.

Alright. And nobody has a preference of how to start? Do you want a "You all meet in a bar" kind of start, or do you already want to be out on a mission?

I'm cool with either. Camille should be able to attach herself to the other in either situation.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

If nobody has any preferences, I will just start. Feel free to speak up if there is a problem. Ill just get right to the action, then.

-------------------

The wind is blowing hard, pushing large drops of snow onto your face. Snow is everywhere, piling up all over the wasteland. At least what you can see of it, it is almost pitch black.

You have each individually been hired to protect the trading caravan. Several rusty pickup trucks with chains on their wheels make the slow journey over the rolling hills of snow. Several other mercenaries are also present, either sitting in the back on some cargo or making their own way on their own vehicle. They may or may not be future player characters.

"Patrolling the nuclear winter almost makes you wish for a Mojave..." A nearby mercenary speaks up. "You know, that sounded a lot better in my hea...." he continues.

He is interrupted by an axe to the face. His body crumples like a rag doll and is soon covered in a fine layer of snow. The other mercenaries and merchants begin shouting "We are under attack!" as people rush around to see what is going on.

What do you do?

"Drive man! Drive!" yells Lilith as she leaps atop a pickup's cab, cracking her electro whip with her left as if to drive on the trucks like cattle and holding her Ak level the sling tight as she scans the plans looking for attack.

Hanne pulls the triggers back on her sawn off. "Well, let's give them a challenge, guys!" She ducks behind a truck and looks around for people to shoot.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

---------------------------

The whip melts the snow around it as the trucks speed forward, kicking up snow behind them. But it is to late. Soon, the entire caravan is surrounded by dozens of animals.

As they hop closer, you get a good look at what they are: Rabbits. Giant, white rabbits. They appear to be mutated as well, instead of having large back feet and small front feet, they have large front feet and small back feet. Reverse rabbits: Tibbars!

On each tibbar was a saddle, and each saddle a man wearing a thick tibbar fur coat. Some had wooden hunting rifles, others had battle axes, a few had spears. The men that is, not the tibbars. Each prepared to attack as the tibbars hopped closer.

The trucks grind to a stop as an explosion lights up the night. Something fired a grenade in front of the first truck, destroying it and keeping the rest from moving.
Camille and Hanne dive for cover, behind a crate and now stopped truck.

What do you do now?
