Oh right! Boxcar looks for the paper that was on the window and reads it. Both sides.

The paper is blank on one side.
The other is most assuredly not blank.
It displays a line of English, followed by Spanish, French, Russian, German, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, amongst other, less easily identifiable languages.
The English is complete gibberish, just a mess of words, mostly nouns.
The text is red.

You leave the room together.

The catwalk is perfectly intact, aside from an entirely different design of door lying on it.

Spoiler: The Other Side of the Pit (click to show/hide)

The other side of it, however, is not.
There are large cracks in the concrete wall and floor.
Part of the ledge is broken off.

There are two doors and a doorway on the other side, the doorway being on the side wall.
It is a brightly lit hallway and the concrete transitions to metal behind the door.
It is marked with a red W.

The other two doors mirror your side. One's missing, the other is dented but otherwise intact.

There is the partially-eaten corpse of someone who, for the most part, resembles a human.
The corpse looks to be of a man.
He looks to have been beaten with a blunt instrument.
His legs are broken.
There is no red blood, but there is a shining, brass-colored liquid leaking from his wounds.

The pit contains two halves of a door.
There are two other doors down there, both closed, one marked with a red N, other with a red S.
The floor is dirt.

Tear off a piece of shirt and use it to pick up the ring. Drop it if anything bad happens. Read what has been written in the silvery stuff.

Shane rips off a small section of his shirt and grabs the ring with the cloth.
It is remarkably detailed, showing a mass of eyes and leaves.
The image seems to repeat itself after two full circles of the ring, which does not work out in your mind.
It does not match up to basic geometry.

The ring is heavy and gray, likely made of lead.
The pupils of the eyes and veins of the leaves glow purple, while the irises are green.

A sound of rushing wind sounds through your head.
The spot above the bridge of your nose begins to itch.

Put it back down, but note where it is. Read what's been written in the silvery stuff.

Nationality: Slovenian
Appearance: Somewhat tall, dark brown hair, small cut on his cheek. He wears a open black jacket and a T-shirt underneath it.
Disabilities: Can't see very well without glasses, slightly overweight.

Talents: Likable personality, good at searching around, knows how to pick locks, can use a gun.
Personality: Friendly and easily excited, but paranoid about pretty much anything. Doesn't have any sort of accent when speaking in English.

Heisenkaf grabs Mr. Jilly's arm as the latter peers over the trashed railing.

There is nothing particularly striking about the pit.
Something's small and not shiny down there.
As well as the door, as has been already mentioned.

Again, on the ground on your side is a hammer.
It's got a rock hammer-like design, but it's clearly a weapon.

Nearby is a round metal clamp.


You set the ring down, Shane.

Near the spatter, it smells sickly-sweet, like rotting fruit.
The writing reads, in poor spelling and handwriting,
"im bleedin out
can sumwun els kill the rushian"

The body lies in the pit, obscured by machinery from the other side.
From up where Shane is, it looks human.

A bright red and cyan light shines from the N door on Shane's current side.
Both doors are still barred by wooden planks.

Somewhere, a door loudly slams open.

The ring has moved closer to Shane.

Give that ring a look that says in no uncertain terms, 'get the fuck outta here'. Then ready my shiv and look at the doors. Unbar them if possible.
