Just to let some more people know: We have a wave of active succession forts at this moment. Come by and take a dwarf, read up on the madness, or maybe take a turn.

- Craftrazors, by Moseythepirate. A merchant and trade based dwarf-fort.

- Silvergoose, by Mensrea. A dwarf-fort that is battling for survival against sieges and starvation.

- Northernshore, by Splint. An orcish story fort about a shipwrecked corsair and his crew.

- Minecart Madness, by Timeless Bob. Essentially a train tycoon simulator.

- The City, by Timeless Bob. A proposed multi-fort project using nanofortress.

- The Luckiest Tourist Ever, Timeless Bob. A Adventure Mode Succession about Twoflowers from Discworld.

- Umgankor, by Grimmash. A dwarf story fort. Nice read, currently in year 3.

- Dwarves vs. Orcs, by Durgress. A Dwarf, Orc and Kobold multi-fort succession fort. Currently has some problems with inactivity. ^^

- Unnamed proposed succession game, by Mallos. Who wants to join?

- Lets Play Orcs, by McTeellox. A proposed orc succession fort with new balancing changes.

Just letting you guys know that its more than just moseythepirates merchantfort. I myself dont really know if succession forts should better be in the Succession board, or in the MDF board.

I am loving the masterwork succession/community forts!

As far as where to have them, I like the succession board because then more people see it and might then check out the awesome mod.

Thanks for the link!  I'll note that my fort is more a tutorial fort, in that I explain things from the player perspective as opposed to really getting into character.  How well I explain is up for debate .

I like the idea of forts going in the Community Games forum, as I think more people might see them there.  I know I would join more, but I am spending enough time on the forts I am already in!

Maybe if those posting in the Successionboard could leave a note here, when their threads are updated, it would be nice. But it is a nice overview, thanks Meph. Now i have some stuff to read.
Even though it looks like there are enough Forts atm, so i guess i better delay my own idea for a bit. Maybe wait for the refined NewYears-Version and then start it up.
