Its 2014 and I have my first book!

The Whole Truth-David Baldacci- Over all, an above average thriller novel. A interesting concept, characters are OK, and twists and shit. 8/10

Book cost stuff
Seems obvious, but... Library?
Well, yes, there is that. And I have, a bit, in the recent years. Only thing is, well... the library is, like, whole minutes driving through traffic away and the computer and fanfiction is riiiight here :P Place I was staying before this it was literally across the street, but I also read everything that (very tiny) library had to offer I was interested in. Year before last. And interlibrary had feeees :x

I have hit up Baen, at least, and occasionally tap Gutenburg (and occasionally other sources unmentionable on the forum), but, well. It's gotten to the point I like fanfiction. As much or more as standard print stuff. So I read a lot of it! It is can be pleasing.

OK HERE WE GO

Spoiler: 1/52 (click to show/hide)

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING AND I CRIED.

For my own challenge, I will count books I started another year as long as there is enough left in them to make up an entire book.  So, if I am 100 pages into a 300-page book, I'm counting it.

Blargle late entry. I'll take another attempt at this for this year, since I feel kinda ashamed of how badly I did last year. :P
And thankfully, I've already finished a book, so not too horribly far behind.

'twas... interesting. A tad higher on the screwed-up-o-meter than the previous book I read from him (Fight Club) was. Even though it was pretty entertaining(I guess that's a decent enough word for it), I don't think I'd really recommend it to anyone, for the aforementioned screwed-upped-ness.

I'll sign up for 52 books, though I'm probably gonna keep it to 52 this time since I'm a little more busy then last year (no 100 books for me this year! :P).

You know what?  It'd be good for me to do this.  Too much Internet lately.

Hey, I should get on this again. After getting in touch with high speed internet for the first time ever late last year, I got nothing done in terms of reading. I want to do more reading than Youtube watching (I don't even want to think of how much time I lost...), so I'll set my goal based on that. 52 books this year it is. I'm a little behind, already, but I'll try finishing up The Fellowship of the Ring quickly. I think it is two books, but not really? Maybe? I think I'll just call it one book for the sake of it all being in one binding, so whatever. Probably.

Good luck with the reading everyone! I hope it will be full of words.
