And Gwahd bless us (or just have a nice day) everyone!
Yeah, I've just got too much to do right now. Luck will result in, at best, a few minutes to worry about how much design I'm not doing. Plenty of time for that, but not enough to scratch out any ideas I haven't already.

Luck will only last so long. If it's really that important than you're going to have to sacrifice a few things here and there. BLOOD DOWNTIME FOR THE PRODUCTIVITY GOD!
Whatever happened to "Happy Holidays"? It's quick, lazy, and everyone knows what you mean: It's perfect!

Just spent the whole day and last night hanging out with my siblings, also it turns out my nostalgia-packed gifts were a real hit.

My brother hosted Christmas day/dinner for me, my parents, and my aunt.

He knows me well: I had Pringles for a starter, chicken nuggets & chips for a main course, and a sorta caramel filled chocolate mousse ball with a marshmallow and ice cream snowman for desert.

I also managed to (accidentally) set a Christmas cracker on fire.

All in all quite a good day.

Apparently I will actually just be sitting around nauseated.  This post brought to you by ginger ale and the number 1729.

Lunch with family, then a tour of the extended family. First part is a walkabout of sorts where all the families from our little part of the village gather up and go from house to house, eating, drinking and singing, also lots of fireworks (and some gun shooting occasionally). And, especially awesome for the young kids is Zumba, usually ran by my uncle (and most of the kids performing it are in some way related to me, huge families, yay!).

The second part is visiting my fathers side of the family in a different village, that's usually an in-house meetup of close family, eating, drinking and talking.

... I went back for pie.  My current state is a strange combination of desire and nausea.

Soon: regrets.

This reminds me that I should eat something. Anything. I tend to forget that when I'm alone.

My grandmother came over and dropped off gifts. Didn't stay long.

My mom's boyfriend's kids came over. Not all of them though. His daughter came with her kids. One's still in diapers, but the other is at that age where they just ask questions all the time. She really harassed the dogs. Though they didn't stay long either.

I was supposed to go to my dad's, but the ice storm from last weekend has left their entire street without power since Saturday. They've been told that power will not be restored until next Monday at the earliest. The roads are still impassible because no-one has moved the fallen trees yet. I had only found out over the phone today.

So instead of being with my family, I had to go to my mom's boyfriend's sibling's house for Christmas dinner. I don't know any of his family. At least they aren't as bad as he is. Though there was plenty of swearing and crass comments, even with children running around. The kids were trying to tell them to stop swearing more than any of the adults were. The Lord's Prayer didn't get finished because people kept interrupting, shouting out whatever they thought was funny.

The first flashing, neon sign that you're getting old is you look forward to a good Christmas meal with your family way more than video games or lotion or whatever. There was fruit and cheese and sausage and oh lawdy

Not to say video games and cologne and magazines aren't great. It's just, you know, other people would enjoy them more. I'm gonna give some of this stuff away.
