Hi,i have downloaded the mod on several occasions but when i try to extract it it wont as it says it cant open it as an archive any help would be appreciated

I have the latest 7 zip and it still fails

winrar can open 7z files, you could try that, right click on the archive and click extract here, it should pull all the files into the same folder as the archive

Make sure you are right clicking and telling it to use 7-zip.  Sometimes other programs that have expired free usage will try and be the primary program to open compressed files.

Actually that message is what 7-zip will report for a corrupt archive, try re-downloading.

If it keeps happening for him maybe he should try disabling his antivirus, firewall, and spybot program for the download.  I've had those corrupt Masterwork before a few versions ago.

i agree. depending on your internet browser you may get an unfinished download try re downloading the archive

I'm having the same problem, using  7-zip and winrar, I downloaded twice, takes ages though since I have to use a vpn to download since the download site is blocking chinese IPs

the download went through fine, but how do I actually start MWDF? I open the MWDF app and the settings window opens up, but how do i launch DF from there? there seems to be no launch button...i've looked in the manual and the forums, but i just can't find an answer.

another question,

I prefer Phoebus over obsidian, i see two Phoebus in the settings, mwPhoebus and just Phoebus, whats the difference? Are all of these tilesets completely compatible with MWDF? no missing grahics for the additions this mod includes?
