Kannii shot a disappointed glance towards the troll and mimed a sigh, letting her hands off the hilt of the daggers before the orc turned round, though her hands remained close. She affected nonchalance and continued watching.

‘Hey, hey, i noticed the pile getting bigger too! Thought it was just my drinks or something. But I wasn’t cheating, not at all!’

"Alright. Do either of you have any evidence to back up your claim?"

Wesley opens his bottle and after a sniff puts two coins on the counter and asks for a citrus fruit and a cup. He turns to the commotion next.
"Make sure that there isn't a third party that would profit from them fighting!"

The orc stares at the scholar, contempt in his eyes.
‘Evidence?’ His hands clench into fists. ‘The pile got bigger, even he agrees. Would you care to tell me how?’
Meanwhile, the barman absent mindedly pushes the coins aside and slides a wooden tumbler across the top. He also pulls a slightly withered lemon from below the bar and cuts it on a pocket knife, before slipping a quarter into the glass. He hesitates for a moment, before stepping out into the room, towards the argument.

Action: Sorrel remains quiet and scans the room-who else seems perhaps a bit too interested in the outcome of this altercation?

Wesley nods to the barman and slides the coins back, evidently intent on paying something for the hospitality. Then he pours his rum into the glass and takes a drink before sighing happily.
"Just like the cook used to make."

"I wasn't watching, how would I know? I would suggest that everyone else check their own pockets. If anyone is missing coin, then we simply take coins from the dwarf's pile and return them. If not, then check the piles for the same. If there is nowhere missing coins that should be there, then the dwarf cannot be cheating, can he?"

The Mira’s eyes scan round the room, darting from person to person. (10) the patrons all seem to be acting normally, either watching the debate or ignoring it, except for a hooded figure seated in the far corner, which sits on a stool, leaning against the wall. their gaze seems firmly fixed on their lap.
The orc reluctantly waves a hand at the group on his table, and the occupants swiftly rummage through their purses and coin pouches. A murmuring spreads across the table, as one by one, each confirms that there is nothing unaccounted for. He scowls, before turning back to the troll.
’So he isn’t a thief. But this fails to explain how his pile grew. The rules say you can’t add to it. So he’s a cheat, plain and simple. Stay out of this mister.’
The barman steps besides the troll and places a hand on his arm.
’You might want to leave this be. things could get a little….. messy.’

Krom nods, hoping he managed to avert conflict. He exits the area.

Sorrel covertly makes her way across the room and sits next to the figure. Imply I know that she knows that I know she knows something. Covertly.

Vaguely disappointed Kannii returned to her drink at the bar. She sipped at the smooth taste and let her eyes wander. Oh? Sorrel seemed to have taken notice of something. She kept an eye on them as she drank slowly.

Wesley goes over to Kannii.
"You want to take bets on whether the Orc or the Dwarf will win?"
He watches Sorrel out of the corner of his eye.

 (1) As soon as the Mira stands, the hooded figure does also, heading rapidly across the room and out of the door before she can react. At no time do they raise their gaze above the floor.
The accused dwarf follows swiftly - a harsh word from the barman ejects him from the building, and he gathers up his full coin pile, tosses his cards onto the table, and leaves with a look of disgust.

Sorrel sits back down.

"Well, that certainly wasn't suspicious."
