Which is why I suppose our figure is choosing to hide there."

Krom has stayed at the inn, figuring that trolls are not good at stealth. He is reading something.

’Indeed.’ She pauses for a moment, looking thoughtful. ’How about we play a game, then? Just to….. get the blood flowing.’ She pulls a dagger from under her top, and lays it flat on the table. ’Between the fingers, as fast as we can.’ She nods at Krom. ’And perhaps you would like to join us? Especially as you’ll take the least harm.’
-----
The woman threads through the stalls with well practiced ease, before disappearing down a side alley - a quick glance reveals that it lies up against the sheer wall that marks the edge of the tier. The end of the alley is marked by a single door, leading into the cliff, which is swiftly swinging shut.

Wesley being a smart lad tries to see if he can spot anything through the key hole it there is one.

"Fair."
Krom gets up, quickly and subtly scratching a rune:
Spoiler: Rune (click to show/hide)
in his palm. He didn't expect much from it, but it couldn't hurt, right?

"Certainly. Forgive me if I miss, though." She grinned. "That'd be the wine. Shall I go first or you?"

Play the game with her.

((The door is 'swinging' not closed yet!))

Sorrel didn't waste time on discussion-a closed door could quickly become a locked door. She wanted to continue the pursuit.

Action: Hurry forth and slip my staff between the crack in the door before it closes, if possible. Continue the pursuit!

(14+3v??) (11) The runes in the palm of Krom’s hand go unnoticed, as he lays his hand flat on the table. Both Kannii and Floe do likewise, with Floe taking the dagger and spinning it in the palm of her hand, before plunging it into the table between her thumb and first finger. As the innkeep winces, she pulls it out and move onto the next joint. (14+?-1(Alcohol!)) It passes cleanly between the two, and each following joint, without even coming close.
As she pulls the blade out for the last time, she lays it in the centre of the table. ’Who’s next?’
-----
The door slams shut on the staff butt with a thud, but it stays open, and reveals a carved corridor beyond. the corridor ends in a room that appears to be bare, apart from the woman who spins to  see the group as they enter. She turns on her heels, and at last begins to run, heading to the right of the room until she is out of sight.

"Well, now I feel like a home invader. But, whose home might this be?

You don't need to run from us, sai. Sit for a pretty and we'll have a talk about how you recognized us in the bar, and made such haste."
She said in a carrying voice, moving after the swiftly running figure.

Action: Follow! Also look out for TRAPS!
