Papers Please

I really want to see some flawed character, but in a realistic way. Most of them are very unrealistic.

I would like to sign up for Long Live the Queen, if it's not too late.

I want to see more every-day joes that are simply swept up in things that they really shouldn't have anything to do with.

You're awesome. FTL please.
I'd love to see more characters who live fluidly. This might sound strange, but I mean characters who don't fit into any one character type, obviously with a coherent personality, but live life how it should be, neither conforming not bucking social trends. A good example is how most of the time the men are melee warriors, women archers or mages. Many who aren't like this do it just to buck the trend. An example of what I think might be doing it right could be the elf from the second hobbit. She and Legolas take up both archer and melee roles as appropriate, getting stuck in when needed. This probably makes no sense. Ah well.

Hello, I'd like to be in the raffle for Long Live the Queen and Dust: An Elysian Tail.
I'd love to play as villain protagonist. I'm quite tired of running around saving the world from the big bad.

I'll go for Papers, Please and FTL, Please.

One type of character I'd like to see more of is older and younger characters.

Most characters in games tend to be 30-something folks. It'd be a nice change of pace to see more characters that are just emerging into adulthood or even have becoming an adult a major part of their character arc. Basically, anyone from ages 14 - 20. It's somewhat common in games - Far Cry 3 and Tomb Raider had somewhat younger characters, as well as a few indie games that have come out the past few years - but these characters' inexperience is often portrayed as nothing more than being whiny and nagging, while they're blowing away bad guys left and right. It's incongruous.

Aged characters appear occasionally in games, but it's pretty rare to see the main character be anyone with more than 40 years under their belt. I can only think of one game where your (Human) character is implied to be in their 40's, and it's a rogue like that lasts all of ten minutes. Older characters really present some opportunities for some bad ass moments that lose their gusto with prime-of-their-life characters.

Awesome!  It's great to see everyone.

A note: The amazing Cheeetar has offered us a copy of Gone Home for the giveaway, which we'll be adding in!  Have at it, everyone!

Because of this, I'm actually going to be changing the giveaway time to 11:59:59 at GMT -11, the time when the very last time zone will be rolling into the new year.  So, there's a little bit more time for everyone to join in :]  Seven more hours now.
