My most recent character began with no offensive skills, Therefor had to kill any way he could.
I find a camp with some vagabonds. I had a crossbowman and a bowman follower at the time.
A swordman and hammerman walk up to me. I throw my beginning spear and nail the hammerman in the head!
Alright good start.
I walk up to the swordman and grab his weapon. Then start kicking him to weaken so I may grab his throat in the crook of my arm.
Enemy reinforcements are coming! Oh.. ooo.. ah.. Nevermind they are running from the barrage of bolts and arrows my followers are providing. I get a maniacal grin and look back to the swordman in my arms.
I get the swordman on the ground and continue beating on him with my kicks. That is when the wounded hammerman (The one with a spear in his head.) crawls over and interrupts my kill.
I fall back into a axeman that has a bolt sticking out of his gut. I grab his weapon, and then the bolt. Because of the high level of pain (I assume) I was able to shoke him out and stomp his skull in. I now have an axe
By now the enemy commander (Maceman) was in sight and heading to the wounded swordman and hammerman.
I swagger over to the two wounded, the swordman was unconcious and the hammerman was trying to drag himself away.
I look down at them, then up to lock eyes with the commander as I stomp the wounded's skulls.
I get surprised by a axeman coming out from behind the tree right next to me!
I throw the axe! miss! I pick up the fallen sword that lies next to my feet and pull my dagger out of my backpack.
I charge away from the commander and towards the axeman!
That was when the full enemy force reached the plateau where the fight was happening. (About 4 people.) They charge my ranged units! Two instantly scatter and start falling like flies to their shots!
I turn towards our new guests and throw my dagger nailing a two-handed-swordsman in the the arm. He drops his sword!
And then within only a split second I am in mortal combat with the axeman. I grab his weapon and his head, I gouge out both his eyes and then throw my sword at a person who is about to interrupt. The sword gets him in the gut! He starts moving away from where the axeman and I are fighting. Crawling.. I'll leave him for my followers..
The commander is still trying to reach me. He's been in a dead sprint directed towards me the entire time.
He was three tiles away when I got done gouging out the axeman's cheeks. Then suddenly a bolt was in the poor axeman's head. I give my followers a scolding look, drop the axeman but keep the axe, and face the commander with the shit eating grin on my face.
I get cocky and grab his throat first. He bashes me in the leg with his mace! It bruises my skin..
usually one would think: "Oh yeah.. That is why I grab the weapon first.."
Instead I thought: "HOW DARE HE."
And then grab his head.. He bashes me again.. bruises muscle..
"ARRORRR!" I fail to get any further in wrestling as he continues to bash me.
So I start going to town on him to weaken him more.
After exchanging blows for a bit, I finally think of something relatively smart: I should move this fight into the sights of my ranged units.
when I get back there, I notice wounded enemies with tons of bolt/arrows in them sprawled all over the open field.
I ignore the commander and start stomping skulls of wounded. I was thinking: "I risked enough in that fight, time for my followers to take some hits for me." The reality wasn't as charming.
The commander's first hit breaks my bowman's wrist.. He doesn't get a second hit as I jumped in right about there..
I grab his weapon, break his ankle with a kick, and decapitate him with the axe from earlier.
"Woo, that was close right guys?"
