Considering that the game's still in the Alpha phase, updates are pretty likely.

When are you guys going to update the WordPress site?
We have a few posts coming up soon.

Start with 3 priests and 1 bandit.  Easy mode?  (Maybe force the RNG to make parties more diverse?)  That is if you are gonna update it.
Actually we plan to add a party select screen, where you can pick your party members and starting items (note that you will only be able to pick one character per class).

My favourite party build so far was a bandit-priest-jester-hunter (in that formation). So much damage, possibility for stuns, and priest can be quickly switched to front rows if anyone needs intensive care. That's the party I've gotten the furthest with, but unfortunately I always have to quit before I die.

I beat the final boss once, with doctor/jester/priest/knight.

PTWing this fancy thread :v

I'm getting some weird error when I start a new game... after the introduction text, all I have is blank screen with two names, two 'bars' at the side and music playing in background. Did I screenshot of the console in the other window:

I'm missing some required software thingy, mayhaps? v:

That error happens once for every game, it happens because I took a coding shortcut and simply played a nonexisting sound file to stop background music, so it's kinda irrelevant to your problem. Can you take a screenshot of your game window please?

Or am I supposed to run the java package thingy instead of .bat file? :v

No no, you're supposed to run the .bat file, but if that doesn't work, how about you try running the .exe from the submission page instead?

Oh, I didn't see that exe. I'm getting blind nowadays v: I will give it a try.

EDIT: Nope! Exactly the same, white-blank screen problem as before.

Hey! So we completed an entry for Ludum Dare 29. And I never linked it here when we finished it. Sorry folks... I am basically The Worst!

(Images as links? It must be the Future!)

Spoiler: Now With Screenshots: (click to show/hide)

A sort of cyberpunk RTS, where battles are fought between two parallel worlds. Personally, I think it suffered from Not Enough Time; we had 15 missions planned, but only had time to roughly implement 3, which left out a lot of cool plot, mechanics, and enemies. Even so, I'm really happy with the concept, and what we were able to put together in under 72 hours. Especially after losing 2 LD Teammates to unexpected changes of plans! I'd encourage you to check it out, along with all the other games from LD29. "Beneath the Surface" was a great theme, and there are tons of games worth checking out.

Willfor. o_o
WILLFOR.

..My ears. My mind.

._.
(as of note, Wireside requires Java to play ;D)

And of another note: Victory Garden Logo! Good work!

Though tiiiiny suggestion: While I wasn't confused by the starting server map (due to previous experience with these types of games ;D), it's partly unknown where the starting point is (though usually at the lower areas of the screen). Edit: And/or I'm just color blind. >_>
Highlight it a bit at game start? :O

Spoiler: Tiny bug(?) too (click to show/hide)

...
Edit: Redact that. Argh me.

Doesn't work for me. Some green flickering and then white screen with music playing. Urgh.

The inability of my PC to run such simple executables is jarring. What kind of high-level stuff you're using that my computer can't run? This is pixel stuff, dammit :<
