Issues with the corpse tag [solved]
« on: December 18, 2013, 09:10:45 pm »

Sorry for bothering everyone, but I have another modding related question.

On a custom reaction, I have the reagent listed as a corpse.  However, dwarves just bring any old item to perform the reaction, using it up in the process.

The spelling of corpse is correct, I checked.

Can you post the reaction?

[REACTION:OFFER_CORPSE_FW]
[NAME:offer a corpse to the inferno]
[BUILDING:FIRE_ALTAR:NONE]
[REAGENT:A:1:CORPSE:NONE:NONE:NONE]
[PRODUCT:50:1:BOULDER:NO_SUBTYPE:INORGANIC:FIRESTONE]
[SKILL:ALCHEMY]

It isn't causing any errors in the errorlog, and all the other reactions I've tested work as expected.

Nothing looks wrong that I can see - although I have virtually no experience with reactions. I've made about 5 in my life. They're... dubious.

You should probably include [USE_BODY_COMPONENT] with that reagent.

[edit] USE_BODY_COMPONENT, not ANY_BODY_COMPONENT.

P.S. If you don't get this note, let me know and I'll write you another.
It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

attatched to the end?  Or in the reagent list?

Any token like that is going to be a modifier, so right after the reagent.
