it would be really expensive if you had to raise them as retinue yes. But the Stats on the Noble LEvy i gathered together from Taricus post about my Noble Levy.

Quote
One levy of ordained brothers are also able to be raised, being more throughly equipped than the laymen of the order: Horses, chainmail, shields and a lot more time devoted to actual training.

actual training i figure is Combat Training One or Two.

The cost of raising and maintaining a levy also rises with the unit's cost. Though to what extent it rises relative to a retinue, I do not know.

The quote below may be a little misleading, but I suppose it only refers to further upgrading levies, in spite of how strong the base levies may be. Is that to say both noble and peasant levies are raised at 0,5 pound/year (regardless of how long they are raised for) worth of upkeep?

Quote
Another thing to note is the upkeep of retinues and raised levies. Most levies cost 0.5 X per year, applicable even if they are raised for only a season, though higher quality levies require a larger sum.

Pretty much. When they start being upgraded via castle/city upgrades is how they get more expensive.

EDIT: Also Ghaz, I'm vetoing the inclusion of crossbows for your noble units. They'll have to make do with longbows since the kingdom lacks the expertise to make the crossbows in the first place.

They already have level two combat training, it would cost 8 pounds to bring them to level 3.

Alright. Heavy Training and Military Training then? (How much is military training? It has no cost listed.)

Military training, for the third level, is eight pounds.

Reply delayed but the gist is: Send a messenger back and say that the marriage will not be coming through. :) Yes, maybe with the smiley but in context of the time and writing style of that era.

Also I can't post a continuous action because I believe Azthor's meeting with me come after the Prince's one. If not, then we can freely talk it out.

I'm thinking of the best way to detail it IC. I mean, I am unsure if nobility can hug people, or if they should be stern and serious!

AH what the hell. I'm hugging my baron. >:I

Taricus, mines and miners were mentioned in my back story to Whitehall, I'm assuming there's a resource to be mined there. You did mention resources in the economy and military rules after all, I'm guessing they either boost trade, allow to recruit more specialized units or just grant extra rent, or any variation of the three.
