I'm guessing elves make up a lot of the serf/slave class. That is those who still live.

Elves seem too fragile to be serfs. Maybe slaves, if there are any, but only in domestic positions. Like butlers and serving girls and such. Jobs that don't require too much heavy labor.

Or are our elves different? Like more muscled and bulky and strong, cause then maybe they should cause that'd be pretty cool.

I agree. I could see Dwarven slaves, if the Dwarves hadn't helped FOUND THE KINGDOM, and Elves are just too flimsy. Turman would make excellent slaves but like Iituem said, the king and various lords probably think Serfdom is MUCH more efficient.

Barring any extreme labour, humans are pretty fragile themselves when you think about it. But I think its a point in lore we can all agree on, elves are not in their best social position right now.

I would imagine elves being like educated Greek slaves in the Roman Empire; they have a measure of status for what they know and can do, despite being despised, but they are still very much slaves.  Otherwise, I reckon Stormborough is an equal opportunity slaver, so you probably find all races enslaved somewhere.  Also, thanks Tiruin!

That might be about right, given that elven culture centered around speechcraft, and thus memory.

I am also thinking about writing up some elven lore, as part of my character, do you think that any of the gods in the current pantheon might be adopted form elven beliefs or be a leftover of their time?

A god I came up with, to take a slot of one of the Older Gods. Not particularly Cthonic, but there you have it. The idea came to me as I was thinking of stuff to do with my character.

Ellisil [corruption of original 'Ellain Isil' Beautiful Moon] - formerly Elven Moon Goddes - evokes lust, love, strong emotions, terror and insanity.

As the night is the refuge of lovers, so is the moon a witness to their passion. Ellisil is a silent and graceful mistress, blessing those who follow their heart, strengthening their resolve in the quiet dark hours and illumination their path in the dark.
Worship of Ellisil occurred (and some say still occurs) in hidden shrines, located at inconspicuous 'Moon Lakes'- in reality they are little more than ponds hidden in the forests or far away from civilized people. Priestesses are sparse and their rites as well as way of recruiting to their ranks are unknown, well kept secrets.
However, they are able to cure many of the mental ailments, such as night terrors and ease insanity that is said to be caused by moon phases (hence expression 'lunatic'). They are also known for their curses that may induce insanity. After all, unrequited love may drive one mad, but night is also dark and full of terrors.
Worship of Ellisil is also tied to metal silver, with a common gift among lovers to be silver moon pendants or rings - till this day it is a preferred way of expressing emotion among elven people, who shun human new gods, and their rather brash weddings. It is a common legend that silver is nothing more than petrified moonlight.
Nowadays, the cult of the Moon Mistress is known to humans too, who partake in the worship secretly and some of the customs like the silver gifts, have bled over to the human culture at large, without awareness of the origin of the practice.

Neither of us is a ruling monarch, nor do we control a proper State, so no personal union, nor royal marriage, no.

It would, however, mean the Duke/Duchess of Aquitaine reigns in France.

Though much does, indeed, hang on your character's reply, the new season won't roll in for a long while, in all likelihood, so take your time.
