I agree with Jarken and Reio. The scouts should be accompanied by by some warriors.

Ahh, also, if any of the scouts do get caught, tell them to run towards the other civilization, we may be able to spark up a war!

I would advise against having our scouts make a little detour between two territories. Even though our scouts would surely run fast, there would be two forces from two different kingdoms cutting them off.

"On a separate note, I say we settle at the end of this peninsula structure, ((Note, on Google Maps, this is labeled Bruderhofer, it should come up if search Konstanz)) and start building boats, we could escape to Burg Meersburg to the East or Munsterlingen to the south if we are attacked and outnumbered.

((All places found on Google Maps, I'm sorry if that's not what they are called in this post-civilization time))

Our scouts will go scout the enemy and come back to us. That's my final decision on this. One warrior with each scout would be preferable.
