Algarius considered. Turning to the rest of the group, it spoke.
"We do have a dilemma on our hands, dear fellows." It laughed. "What will we do with this bandit? We could leave him here for the wolves to eat, or we could cut his throat. I'm afraid we don't have the time to march him back to the town gallows if this leader of theirs is gathering troops and talking to demons."

[Powder Miner]

"I should figure we would want to be at the town if anything is so imminent."

[GiglameshDespair]

A smooth, thoughtful voice. "It would be better for the town if we nipped the problem in the bud. We wouldn't want innocent people to get caught up in any attack, and splitting our strength would be a poor idea."

[dawnstar]

Oh, is this the planning you spoke of?

[GiglameshDespair]

"I'm afraid so, dawnstar."

[Powder Miner]

"We're hilariously underequipped, you must realize. In the event of attrition, superior forces, or anysuch happening, we would not make it."

[GiglameshDespair]

"They also will not expect us, and many of them are ill-trained. Sounds like the brigand boss rules by fear - if we defeat him the rest will no doubt scatter. They don't think we're much of a threat or they would have more. We can probably do it. Sneak in, cut down ser brigand, and watch the rest flee like dogs with no need for a big fight."

It turned to look at Caterina, though no eyes ould be seen behind the shadowed eyeslits of the wooden mask. The ever-changing voice became masculine, confident. "We're all better than a bunch of unskilled bandits. These two were some of the better ones. We wouldn't fight them all at once - or most of them at all, if all goes to plan. Better to try than scurrying back to town scared."
It chuckled. "I do have my pride."

The bandit interjects, badly trying to mimic Caterina's voice.
"I, for one, think this is a terrible idea and we should let me- er, the bandit go free with no bodily harm whatsoever."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Ha. I think you should leave the voices to me, my friend."

[Powder Miner]

Catarina glares at the bandit.
"Oh, shut up will you."
She then turns to Algarius. "Well, alright. Let us hope that this talking with demons does not result in actual demons, then! I'll agree about going. As for the bandit... eh. I don't actually care."

[mastahcheese]

"It is my belief that he should face proper law. But I understand that we don't always have the time for such. Leaving him to wolves is uncalled for, we must be civil."

[GiglameshDespair]

"Let's just give him a quick end then. Almost painless, instant." It knelt next to the bandit. The shortswords went in their sheaths and a knife appeared in it's hands as if by magic.

I smake him ofer the head with my axe before he swings
