Is it possible to, once you've gained some influence, to convince R&D or sponsors to upgrade your stats, or load out? Cause the idea of wolf-like drones is quite appealing, and I'd like to later not focus on avoiding every single shot fired at me.

BIO: Glassco didn't expect to get into this field of work. Originally nothing more than a two-bit conman seeking to win it big, he tried his hand at an honest life. Got a job, got some money, quit his job and tried to set off as his own boss and sell his own thing, make a company and all that. Didn't quite work out... One of his old contacts however offered him a hand in the lucrative field of selling "fireworks" to "enthusiasts." This proved much more helpful in the 'get loads of money very quickly' goal, but was quite detrimental on the 'don't get shot at' goal he wasn't even aware he had. So he dropped that life after a bit, joined up with a private arms force for protection and some green, and wound up here.
