UltraValicanYou take the pocket watches. you cannot define material for sure without using magic, but it is has metallic structure and seems to be extremely durable. You open watches' cap and look at dial. It is pretty simple, with roman numbers written in simplistic style situated in usuall manner. You feel a small enchantment on them - it seems that they are self-winding.
Librarian waits you to fix'em properly and then answers.
- My master was lerning all of these by heart by the will of his father and grandfather, and then learned every spell of them. And only then he proceeded to dark arts. You feel aching hunger and burning thirst. Of, that is awful. You guess you now know enough to summon foods, however.
Patrick Hunt - Cease your pathetic nonsense and surrender. It won't be me who defines your guilt anyway.
The figure speaking is an elf, of course. You presume that he serves in something like inteligence service. And, judging by his face expression that shows digust, anger and arrogancy at the same time, you presume that he believes that every thing he just accused you of doing is true.
Caerwyn((No problem-o. Since darkpaladin ceased activity on this game, I deattached him from your party.))
You set up a small camp on the edge of the forest and make a fire. While you and guys set up some tents Urast reasonably brought, Alexander grabs his rifle and goes to the forest. in a while, you hear a gunshot. Than another one. in half an hour Alexander returns with a dead boar.
- Meal is here! - he declares joyfully.
By quite an amount of collective efforts, you manage to skin the beast, disembowel it and then roast his whole massive body. You have a good meal before sleeping, and some more even stays for breakfast. Alexander assigns nightwatches - he is the first, than Zigfried, than Urast, and you are the last.
You go to yer tent and have a nap.
[night shift rolls]
[Alexander - 4]
[Zigfried - 2]
[Urast - 3]
[You - 3]
Ultimately, nothing happens at night - just more beasts wandered around the light circle, not daring to enter. Zigfried even had to shoot one in order to keep others feared.
Now, you all awake and have the rests of boar as your breakfast. Cold, but still tasty.
Now, Urast extracts from some inner pocket of his some folded piece of parchment. He looks at it attentively and declares that from now on your steps are directed through this thick forest. You walk inside and reach... The wall. You remember, you saw a castle? Well, it stands right in the middle of the forest. You can see the opened front gate from here. You walk along the wall and reach the gate. Alexander gives a short look inside, than steps forward and stares. There is a pile of bones. Human bones, unhuman bones - the pile at least 3 meters high. You all stare for a moment. Should that be, like, a warning?
As you enter the front door, the pile begins to move. You all see the bones flying in the air and then descending to the ground to form... skeletons? But what kind of creatures could have one like that? Just... too much bones. Finally, ten tall abominations are formed and are going to attack you.
Urast grins and drops the box he brought all the way with care. he opens it - inside there is something like that:
he puts that monstrosity on his shoulder and prepares to fire.
[6 vs 2] Your party fires first.
[Urast's rocket launcher hits three of these at time due to their current disposition]
[explosives have +1 against skeletons]
[3+1] The blast wiped away it's right half. It still lives.
[2+1] This one has not suffered, but is kept from attacking
[6+1] This one was in epicenter. It is completely shattered. Those are clearly were not intended to withstand moden weaponry.
[1+1] Alexander makes a shot right in the center of monstrosity, where a man has a heart. But it makes no such effect on that abomination.
[5] Your carabine's multiple shots make the deal - they shatter the skull of one construct, and it falls dead.
[5] Zigfried learns fast. He aims and shoots another's skull, so it falls dead, too.
Monsters take your reloading time to approach. they are still in 70-80 meters from you. Keep firing, I guess?
