He nods and walks away, returning with requested items.

Pay then go to the town's most popular tavern.

Ask about dark elf locations very vocally so everybody hears.
(( Maybe they have spies or informants who can help me. ))

"Well lets hope you won't have to use Gertrude till morning, I have a feeling it would wake the whole forest up. "

"Zacharia seems to be quite the Savvy gambler, I guess being a merchant is a gamble in a sort philosophical sense though. You would utilize some of the same skills, so I guess it makes sense."
See if the eyes are still watching around the camp.

((Oops, didn't notice that, probably. Apologizes.))
The eyes are truly watching from the dark. However, you guess that they do not belong to humanoids, for they are moving in strange clusters of gleaming spots in the darkness.
 - Yeah, something like that. You know, from his own words I calculated that he lost and renewed his own caravan for at least half a dozen times - but every single time he went out more prosperous than he was. This is a man of extreme luck and knowledge. You're lucky he picked you up in that market - if you'll quit this work, he pays so generous that you can live most of youк further life in comfort. The thing is a few leave his caravan - this man's charm is great, and, as for me personnaly, I doubt I could live the life I used to after being in this caravan. I now understand that this ever-travelling style of life is just what I want to do during my long lifespan.

- I'm sorry, sir, but I do not perform barter in first place, and in second, I do not trade guns. Since I see you have hard times, try to visit a junk dealer in the next quater from here and exchange your goods there.

Leave town and head for the nearest military base.

((You do not have a slightest idea where it is. Such objects are not shown on civil maps, you know. You can use your map to locate any place you've been before, however.))

UltraValican
You throw a few more branches to the fire, so it keeps burning bright.
You look up to the sky and estimate that it is around 4 a.m. now.
 - Well, quite a question. I served in Dragonborn Army, actually. Got retirement after Great War. Then I was horrificly bored - you know, I know nothing but fight in my life. So I went on a quest of spiritual development - that is an old tradition, when a dragonborn leaves his homelands to regain his honor, or life sense, or just pissed off everyone around him. He is expected to return, but everyone understands if he won't. So, for me the quest is accomplished, I think.

Go to the tavern and ask the bartender if there's any jobs to do around here.

Patrick Hunt
You walk for three days without food and water with you and a whole load of equipment on your back, so you come to Beletran pretty screwed - your longcoat is almost unusable and shevrons are hardly read. You are starving and have to find water in five turns, or suffer coma and (maybe) death of thirst. You have also to find food in 15 turns or starve to death.

UltraValican
In an hour and a half a change of two other guards come. Stay with them or sleep some more before going further?

darkpaladin109
While going to the tavern, you see a strange couple of four armed persons heading to the backyard. Move along?

Go to the officers mess and get a meal and drink.

Requisition a replacement coat and enough dry rations and water to fill my pack.

See what military vehicles are present in the town then clean my chevrons.

Use the former owners authorization sigil.
