Wow, that's pretty impressive. How'd you get to be so knowledgeable on such things?  As for seeking the necromancer out, I'm all for it if your willing to go. Time is money after all and I would think you would want to get to the city as soon as possible. You're the boss of this operation.

If we're going to go we should probably put the sword back up, wouldn't want a huge welcome party if we actually find the bastard's little freakshow

Nod in confirmation, and request the details of the job.

Caerwyn
 - Well, the whole deal is just as simple as I said in the announcement. We go to the place I know, we explore this place, we extract all the riches and divide it in equal parts among us. I feel myself generous enough to make such an offer because that may be risky.
If you agree, we depart immediately.

UltraValican
 - Well, nelieve it or not, I won my knowledge in magic from an old battlemage in a round of poker a couple of years ago. And yes, I'm feeling like changing our route and visiting this old chap. So wait here, I'll set the orders to drivers, grab a squad of men and we'll depart - you'll lead.

Harry Baldman
 - Still, they won't spit any words that will offend. Evermore.
The man speaking is tall and a bit fat. He wears a fine buiness suit under a fancy longcoat.
 - And who might you be good sir? A Guild spectator, I presume? My name is Relow Vaticini. And you...?

Rolepgeek
You walk down to the main room. A few are sitting there, five of them, in fact. Three are bald bearded dwarves - you guess that they are not the interlocuters you are looking for. They are too drunk to mention your shy movements around the room. Another two are completely different - one is looks like a detective or a mafiosi: his fancy leathery longcoat and fedora are completely diverging his surrondings. He's drinking the drink so expensive that a single drop of it costs the same price that your whole equipment does. Second is a man in clothes so crumpled that it could be hardly recognized as a military uniform.

You have no movable radios - those are 25-kilo-boxes.

(( Uhm what about mine? It's on the bottom of the previous page. ))

Use radios to regroup my forces and head for the largest of the elven border towns.

You take your gun out of the holster and examine it - it seems to be fine. Trader wasn't decieving you with all the stuff he told you about it. Zacharia returns with ten armed men from the guard and a custom lever-action rifle with it's wooden parts made from fine red wood.
 - Let's get moving. Xavar, lead us.

Patrick Hunt
You return to the town with your batallion and wait. Another three batallions return. Others... where are they? Filthy deserters!

(( Lol commandos deserting? The elven military really is a fuck up.  I've got more work to do then I thought.))

Send scouts out to find the others and guide them to the town to return to duty, if they refuse have them listed as deserters and have a kill on sight order placed on them.

Request a meeting with the towns senior officer.

((MWAHAHAHA!!))
You send two full companies to scout the forset with your orders. Than, you find out that there are no military presense in the town you have came to.
You establish an erzats-HQ in the place and meet the mayor - an old elf with a broad across his torso, symbol of his status.

UltraValican
[4] You follow the trace confidently. It leads you deep into the forest. You estimate that you will be there by night if you'll keep going. Keep going all day long or offer yer comrades to make a stop not to fight a necromancer at night?

Wait for my men to return. Ask the mayor if he can contact the border general or knows anybody who can.

Mayor knows neither the general himself nor military authorities who do.
You wait for three, four, five, dozen hours - none of the men you've sent return.

UltraValican
Zachara commands a stop to listen to you, than thinks for about half an hour.
 - You're right. We'll have a stop here, and fight whoever is behind that at the daytime. But be prepared for a sudden attack, gentlemen!
A few guards use their machetes to chop some wood for the fireplace, Zacharia assigns the nightwatch. Your turn is in the middle of the night with Yaro.
