((Hehe, you may find it ridiculous, but in this setting, zombies whose throats are not decayed enough can scream :D))

Harry Baldman
((Okay, I got the idea. Much appreciated for that. But I still do not change my mind. What you just written makes me think that you know this setting better than me - that is ridiculous, isn't it? And why the bloody hell you think you should defect to humans after murdering your officer? Just get the command and move on. If you will think too much about morale, you won't last long here.
And that obsession with bows and such. Maybe you should ask for some rocks for throwing, too? Silencers are invented and used. What keeps you from requesting some?))

Wait until we are outside the camp then approach the officer from behind and cut his throat.

((So they can feel pain too?))
Look over the bodies for anything interesting. This includes equipment or any interesting wounds or markings not caused by being pumped full of lead/exploded

You approach the corpses to examine them. Poke them with your staff first to be sure they're dead.
You conclude that most of them were killed by cold weapons, though some of them have strange bursts.
Their equipment is different - dome of them used to be rangers, others - travelers, third ones - just commoners. One of the zombies - an armored dwarf that got teared apart by Yaro's shot, holds a strange sword - it is sharp and bright, and seems to be newer than other equipment on him. It's design doesn't resemble anything you saw, and its hilt is covered with the engravings you saw on the pyramid. Also, a small gem is integrated to it's hilt, and it seems to have traces of magic presence in it.

Patrick Hunt
You ride outside the city limits. You drive the truck, the officer is sitting on the shotgun and smokes his pipe. Go for his throat right now or wait until night?

I'm off for about 16 hours for now.

(( Uhm dude I'm not Harry :P. ))

Stop the convoy and tell the officer I saw something in the trees, lead him off to the side and point at something on the ground then when he looks cut his throat.

Stopping the truck and motioning for the officer to follow him Harberad points down at the joint of a tree.

" If you'd care to look sir, the humans seem to be setting traps for us already probably to keep us from trying to break the siege. "

Harberad stepped back behind the officer to give him a clear view quietly drawing his knives as he did so before driving one through the back of the officers neck causing his body to tense briefly before dropping limply and ripping the other across his throat in a spray of blood, looking at the body he shook his head for a moment before returning to the truck.

" Sorry sir, but you have no idea how to fight this war and I have no intention of letting you get my men killed. "

(( Just to be clear, I get him to look down at the tree then cut his throat while he's looking down. Since we're on the same side he has no reason to suspect me and since I'll be behind him I'd assume I get my +3 as well. ))

((Whoops, sorry. It was deep night IRL, I hardly understood what the hell I was typing))

All right. You cut his throat without a roll - +3 would give a success anyway. His blood-spitted corpse is laying before you, spreading red puddle around him. Leave him to lie right here, loot him, or what?

Harberad looks down at the body sadly for a moment before searching it for any useful objects and removing his rank insignia.

"Sorry brother, I have no time to spare for you.

Moving aside he hid the body under some bushes before returning to the convoy.

"Anybody know of any good weapon brookers in the area?

Hide and loot the body, take his rank.insignia and wear them. If known head for a broiler if not head for a supply depot.

You loot the corpse - a sabre, gifted "To Colonel Aear Monea, for long and productive years of service", a fancy flintlock pistol, inlaid with gold and silver tracery, his pipe and tobacco pouch.
His insignias are his shevrons - placed right on his longcoat. You put it on - luckily, it is spitted with blood only from inside. You wear it over your armor - it would be too big for you otherwise.
When you go out of the forest, your men look at you. Some fear in their eyes at first, but then it changes to stong conviction, that you were right. Nobody liked the fucker you murdered.

Nobody knows any gun dealer around. You choose the most busy road from the city and ride to another small town - it is an old one, and elves live high on the crowns of trees in their houses.

Harberad walked though the town until he came to the barracks and stopped to speak with the sentry.

"Colonel Harberad to speak with your quartermaster and your ranking officer immediately. Move!!!

Two soldiers - you notice bows and quivers at their side - move quickly somewhere inside the huge trunk of the oldest oak of the forest. They're back in five minutes.
 - Colonel Harbeard, sir, follow us, sir.

With my funds, purchase the Commando Carbine, because it sounds overpowered. Let the others choose what they fancy with the spare 160. If they want, they could both get a Mat Revolver...After that, head out with the group to find some work!

Bring the sword to Yaro
"You seem like you know something about these symbols, judging from your response to the pyramid. Is this some sort of emblem or marking of a group that wants us dead?"

Caerwyn
((Carabine is powerful weapon, yes. I nerfed it's effective range to 150 meters - I think that makes sense, since it fires pistol ammo. I hope you don't mind))
You pick your carabine and examine it. Truly a masterpiece of armament industry. Light, silent and deadly. And it has the cheapest ammo, which is also important.

Alexander asks for some other models of small arms, and chooses for him and Zigfried standart single-action relvolvers. He says that they're used to use those.
Spoiler: Revolver Mk.IV (click to show/hide)

They use 90 singuluses left to purchase Kragensen's rifle - if something mean would show up.

You remember that something on the announcement board promised you 100 Golden Hammers. Head there or look for local bars to chat about work?

UltraValican
You bring the sword to Yaro. He looks a bit puzzled.
 - No idea what are those symbols.
He give the sword back to you.
 - I was warned by pyramid because it's one of the most common ways to stop caravan - disperse little sharp thingys on it's way. But the whole thing seems to be unusual. Maybe you should show this sword to Zacharia later in the evening.
An hour or two passes until all the broken wheels are replaced. Then you head forward - the first point of your trade route is, as you were explained, the dwarven encampment in mountains. You reach it at the sunset - it's sliding bridge stretches from one side of the canyon that devides the road and enter to the mountain city. Here you get out of the car. Zacharia comes to you to mention that you may be needed anytime to make that clerk work you promised, so you should hang around the trucks somewhere. About six guards leave near the caravan, others head straight to pubs, inns and whorehouses.

Patrick Hunt
You head to the giant oak and walk inside it. You walk through it's corridors, through it's endless curves. Finally, you end up in some kind of cabinet. At least, it is cabinet as you've used to imagine it - a large table, a chair decorated with fine leather, piles of papers on the table. Though, it is quite small - but it is just enough place for it's owner and his vistor.
Speaking about the owner - it is a short and a bit fat elf, that stands up and salutes when you enter. You presume that his rank is lower than yours judging by his behavior. Ah, look, and here's his uniform coat - he is leutenant.

Harberad holds his hand out politely for shaking before sitting down.

"I'm leading a small force to raid the humans lines to remind them who they're messing with and on that I need your help.

I need to take bows and bodkin arrows from your armory, I'll replace them with rifles and pistols. I also need maces, caltraps and scale armor and I need a portable radio.

You can send some men to collect the rifles and pistols from my men and to deliver the supplies to them. Every man needs 1 bow, bodkin arrows 2 knives, 1 mace 1 set of scale armor and 1 long coat so have anything my men lack delivered right away and I need crates of caltraps as well.

Now while your men take care of that we need to talk, how many men do you have here?
