 - Sometimes it seems that he was born with it. It doesn't seem to harm his mental health, though. He is travelling with caravans since he was a child - he inherited his father's buisness, in fact. And his father always taught him, that he has to be prepared for everything while travelling through Wildlands. So, maybe paranoia is a bit too strong word to describe this trait of his character, excessive carefulness would do better.
And about that undead - we just saw one of them walking out oof the fog, shot him in the head and made our way quickly, because the sounds that came from the fog were not promising anything good. Damn, I was almost scared then.

Ask where the best place in the area to buy fuel is.

Approaching the elf who had the idea to buy the trucks Harberad shakes his hand briefly.

"Where would you suggest going for fuel? We need to fill the tanks up before we head to the capital."

You look out of the window - the sight is beautiful.
Better than words.
 - That is why I abandoned my homelands, - says Yaro - I wanted to see more sight like this.

Patrick Hunt
 - I suggest to buy some right in the next town - it is a fuel refinery there, so it should be the cheapest in the area. Or, we can drive our trucks to the capital, sell the there and buy some better arms. I do hope that government would support us in our beginnings and provide us with transport.

Move along, fill all the trucks in the next town and see if any more men want to join us then head on for the capital.

" That sounds fine, it's a chance to pick up a few more men as well. I'll sort out supplies once we reach the capital, they are going to need us after all. "

You come to a small industrial town - there are plently of those in any country, they are usually built around oil wells. Up to 90% of it's population are workers and their families. So, they pay no attention to your offer - they declare that they're serving their country by fueling it's machines. They fuel yours for free, however.
You head now straight to the capital. On second day of your travel, the front truck stops, and so do the others. Elves run out to see what's the matter and stand still on one point as they see. You push them aside to see what's the matter yourself.
You see Armies of Men, Tank Forces, Heavy Infantry, more Dragons - all moving from the east right to the city. It seems to be prepared, but you won't reach it before they do.

It's going to be a siege.

(( I don't have any of the supplies I need yet so all I can do is change direction and get it somewhere else, guns are no use to me. There even less use in this situation.

I'll rp actions when I can but I'm on my phone now so I can't. ))

((And who said that your character has such an important skills like logic or common sense? You know, when you are trying to convince everyone that you are going to kill all humans and turn tail when you actually meet them, that is no good.
Besides, I'm not suggesting to go to front attack. Kill their officers at night, explode their munitions, begin terror at night - that does much more sense and does not requires any more supplies than you have.
What you suggest makes some sence, though. So, you still wish to go somewhere else?))

We'll purchase the weapons that we need. The best defense is a good offense, so let us get whatever firearms we can, of the highest quality.

(( It's not so much more supplies as different ones, a gun is very loud and almost all of my men have guns. I need to replace the guns with bows, hopefully get some armor. Maces, bodkin arrows but most importantly, I need explosives and a couple of other toys for ambush warfare.

Any well stocked military camp will do so go elsewhere please.

My character isn't a genius but he knows when he's not prepared for a fight.))

You followers do not share your initiative, but you manage to conince them. You sit back to your trucks and head to the second largest city of elves that you passed by the way. After a day of stirring the wheel, you arrive. There, you are met by local police authorities.
 - What is this? A band of bandits openly rushing our noble city? - yells sheriff, targeting your company from the barricdes on your way.

UltraValician
 - Well, imagine tundra. Endless plains covered with snow. Some pine forests, also covered with snow. Did it? You got pretty full picture.
Then nothing happens for several hours.
[event roll - 2]BOOM! You look out of the window. Looks like one of the wheels is penetrated by something sharp. The caravan stops. One of the guards - who seems to be local mechanic at once - begins to change the wheel with reserve one. That's gonna take about an hour. You exit the truck to stretch legs. the sight is still wonderful and you admire it. Then you come closer to the place where the wheel was broken. You suddenly feel something sharp under your foot. You pick up the thing that harmed you - it is a small pyramid, made of metal, but extremely rusty. You see some kind of old engravings on it. You look around under your feet - there are lots of those around. Suspicious.
