I will continue tomorrow  on technologies and spaceships, newtonian and trans-newtonian(direct)  travels, crew & ship systems management, interstellar travels, hyperspace ect . . .
Is it weird that this gave me a boner?

Done with the economy already?
Damn you work fast, I take several days just to set-up a game of Aurora, I can't imagine how much work goes into actually making a project like that :P

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

When i said i closed the economy development , it doesn't mean i crossed it from my list, it means that i have reached a point of complexity too high in comparison with other parts of the program ; each parts are interdependants  ;).
Beside , since the start of the project, 80 % of my work is on economy , that is good because i learned c++ as well,  and today i feel like developping something more fun and that gives less headaches, be able to show visible results, and to add actual gameplay.

To summarize my development activity since my last post :
-Gotten trapped in a super addictive and stupid game (dota2)
-played a lot
-uninstalled the game & cursed dota2's devs .

Don't worry, everyone gets addicted to games at some point. Having programming to do only exacerbates this problem in my experience. Granted "my experience" is limited to my turn at the DF From Scratch mod, so take that as you will :P

I cant wait to play it! i could never manage to play Aurora mainly because there was just nothing to look at but this seems like it will be more graphics based while still keeping the fun complexity that i love.

Interesting.

For a name, have you thought about Per Aspera ad Astra? It means 'To the stars through difficulties' or 'A rough road leads to the stars'.
