"Order our members to start the construction of new navy ships. Destroyers, submarines, cruisers, everything. We must secure our resource trades from the Pacific.

Also, send scouts to report on what the other factions are planning, including any messages they have sent our way. Start working on the collections of natural resources and the taxation of the people, but keep taxation low: we do not want to upset our people at this point. Start a bast for military training and begin an inclusive draft. See what factories we can commandeer, and have them change to food, war machines, and natural resource production and conversion."

Summery: The ships are high quality, cheap to make, and have been built much ahead of schedule. You find out a lot about the other nations, including that Texas is planning to attack the confederacy next turn. the amount of natural recourses collected is average. The taxation is taken very well by the people, and they had started making large donations to the government. But you can't change taxes too much now. the training of units is now quite above average. the draft is taken well. the factories don't want to be commandeered and refuse. production however, has increased very much, both for civilians and for the military.

and yes, PM'ed actions are allowed.

Quick question for the GM: What would happen if, theoretically, all nations came to a peaceful agreement?

(My prediction of what the GM would do: EU will be forced to pull out of their area since their work at establishing peace is completed and they have no reason to be there.  If they go out slowly, distributing territory evenly between the NEA and the Confederacy, it might wind up with no conflict, but if it is all at once, the NEA and Confederacy will have disputes over the land, and a war might ignite that plunges everything into war.

Granted, under my leadership the Confederacy, New England has to strike first, otherwise, it will be in negotiations.)
Hm, good idea, but I had something else in mind but I would gladly incorporate that into it.
