"Drakelings are the miniature draconic children of the Father of Monsters, the Rad Wyvern Red. They are the size of goblins, and tend to be somewhat slender. They have small wings on their back, which, coupled with their magic, allow them to fly for a short period of time. Despite their scales, they are normally depicted as one of the more adorable of the beast people. A drakeling tend to be amoral and chaotic, but their zeal for knowledge had made them a stronger race than the dragons themselves. They tend to live in burrows and mountains, making them the draconic, short-lived equivalent of the Dwarves."

You attempt to recall how you managed to get surrounded by five burly bandits, in this dismal, misty foreign land.

Oh, right...

You were heading for the misty town of Adwick, far away from your homeland of Vaital in search of the legendary artifact known as the Star Tiara, lost hundred of years ago before the omens had pointed to a small, quiet town in a foreign country far from your homeland. You, as a disciple of the Rad Wyvern Red, had been dispatched to retrieve to artifact to strengthen the Drakeling Horde's magic to fight against the enemy forces that seek to destroy the Cult of RWR. If the lack of any news regarding it ever since your departure from Vaitali would be any indication, it would mean that the Tiara had not been found yet, or it would mean the omen was total bullshit.

Tracking through the muddy roads of this dismal region, you are beginning to suspect the latter. Your boredom had grew and grew, with nothing interesting happening for the past year since your journey began. These bandits, in fact, would almost seem to be welcome diversion. Before the Fall of the Rad Wyvern Red, lesser mongrels such as these would not dare to even approach you, not with your blood red robes and the insignia of the Father of the Monsters, lest they be struck down with extreme prejudice from your capricious God.

At least you hope you will survive this.

Background: Once an apprentice, Drakruldus was captured by dwarves a couple years ago and forced to act as their servant. He got the trust of his master over the course of a year and a half, before gathering the required items and finally killing him and escaping. He returned home and got his quest to try and make up for losing the final years of training.

Last I checked, I think GWG is the spokesman for dragons, just like how Tiruin is the spokeswoman for elves.
And how the rest of Bay12 are for dwarves. 

Also the thing is more like in this world the dragons are more kind of chilled out, like they'd rather meditate and ponder their knowledge for years rather than aggressively searching for them. The Drakelings are too short-lived to have such luxury.

And the Drakelings are basically the DnD kobolds. Mostly because I'd rather use the bunny-like cutebolds.

On your return home, your old teacher Kenozi had assigned you this quest to try and make up for losing the final years of your training.

You have slightly more aerodynamic body for a drakeling, with average muscle build, but strong tail. You have good aim and are attentive of events but tend to forget minor/less important details.

Sizing up the bandits surrounding you, you find that they are all humans, likely of the local Anstali descent, or in other words: they are swamp people. They dons rusted, low-quality armors, and wield warped steel weapons. The only reason they'd think to rob you, you think, is because they see you as a puny drakeling, and not a Dragonmonk.

Combat would be an option, but you doubt you'll get any worthwhile loot. Then again, you are not sure if you can intimidate them enough to leave you alone.
