....You've only won a single game.  >_>  That's hardly hogging.  Furtuka and choppy are the ones cleaning up this year; x8 and x5 respectively.

There's plenty enough games to go around, but it's quite possible we'll get some more once the Steam sale starts up again.

Would anybody be interested in a Secret Santa-type thing? The basic scheme of things would be like this:

1)Interested people post their Steam account, and a list of genres they enjoy.
2)After a week or whatever, each person is assigned a person to gift a $5-$10 game to.
3)Over the next week, people buy games.
4)On the 25th (or thereabouts) people gift the games.

It could be done this year if interest is high enough, but time periods would have to be cut in half. It might be a bit excessive, though; the giveaway is a pretty big thing.

I think that would be interesting. I probably won't take part this year, though.

I think it would be much easier with some software dedicated to giveaways. This is a bit of a modification of the giveaway site that webadict wanted to make. There could be a section dedicated to the normal giveaway, a section for Secret Santa, and sections for whatever else people are interested in.

If the programmers among us could collaborate on the app, we could probably get it looking and working pretty snazzy for next year. If no one does anything in the coming weeks/months, I may start it myself.

That being said, this is probably also material for its own thread.

I think it's a decent idea, and definitely agree it would need to be its own thread.  The format is very different, and trying to shoehorn both into this thread would be a huge hassle.

The best way to gauge interest would be a discussion/prelude thread, of course.

I have no input right now on the rules/parameters...  Still not done with finals.  (soon)

There was only one Orange Box, and it's gone already, sorry...  Remember to look at the calendar, not the entrants lists, for what's still available.  The Xmas Steam sale should be starting up soon, and Half Life things usually end up on deep discount at least once every major sale.
