Also, I suggest making a few other types of swords for Rhunon's Forge, and other types of weapons. Rhunon mentioned a rider who used a spear, and how each sword is different. It would make sense to have ones with better stab, worse swing, higher contact area, deeper penetration. I suggest using one of the weapon pack's for a basis. I prefer Stahl's weapon pack, it's very good. Ask if you can pull a weapon or two from that, and incorporate them from the forge.

Also, on the topic of this thread, I once witnessed the urgal race that is in the eragon mod perform an assasination while adventuring. They killed the lady of a human settlement, and I thought that was awesome.

anyways cool. 8) im assuming you used that tag I saw on the wiki to make it live in  the circus (I have been lurking long enough to learn some of the lingo and inside jokes) and join the welcoming party?

im using my (horrible) moding skills and the wiki to work on those catuis that were posted. but im having some problems. I THINK I have got them were they can make civs now but how do I use the religions and the spheres . I checked the other files for dwarfs and such but saw none of the tags related to those. :-\

this is a noob's sword, all craftdwarfship is of the highest quality. it menaces with spikes of fail. it is encircled with rings of curiosity. it is adorned with
confusion. on the item is an image of a creature RAW file. the file contains entity tags. the artwork relates to the failed attempt to get catuis civs to appear.
(get it, I like swords so my artifact is a sword, I failed so its menacing with spikes of fail, and I failed with the tokens so that's why there is token in the name. it has the double meaning of representing my failure AND the fact that tokens were my failure) ....I DO have a life! its called siting at home and playing games . :P

ummmm can I get the entity you used for the catuis? then maybe I can make some of the adjustments I was thinking of? best to start small on your moding right?
im going to remove those useless entity tags from the creature now.... :-[

Something I made a while ago for good biomes.

The fairy templates are what I use for ethereal creatures instead of STANDARD_MATERIALS and STANDARD_TISSUES. Most organs are missing and/or have ethereal counterparts.  e.g. Instead of lungs it has "breath", and the "seat of soul" is where the heart should be and functions as the brain.

Comments: I made this for some kind of magic-realist(?) mod, which is supposed to amplify the fantasy aspects and at the same time the hardness of mediaeval life (harder farming among other things).  Fairies are a thing in good biomes and are always a good source of Fun.  Sylphs are like Kea, except sapient, ethereal, flying, and knocks people unconscious for fun. :)

Bugs: The fairy curse spell needs more tuning in Adv. mode.  (Actually an issue for all of my fairies)
You may also notice, zombies don't attack them.  Not really a bug imo (fairies are wispy spirits) but this might look strange if you've embarked near a tower.

I had raws for an older version of DF, and I was also new to modding them in anyway; but after some searching, I found my old thread of a lovable cuddly creature. The Wagon The Carippoparpamus.

Made back when Carp and Hippo were the most dangerous encounters, and I was in a rather sinister mood at the time.

If anyone wants to rebuild them for the latest DF (they were also WIP anyway, so if you don't mind making them meaner), be my guest. Raws and image within thread. CAUTION: It's really old, so no unnecessary necroing, please.

Holy crap, that was nearly 5 years ago... (by maybe 1/4 a year from this post.)

Man, that was also made before Arena Mode. Building the lab for testing was getting tedious, and Real Life kept getting in the way.

looked over the shylip a bit.
...flys...steals items....agony......mmmmm..........that does sound like fun. seeing as I cant do much for the catuis until I get that entity file to experiment with and study I think I will pour over this for a while. ;)
....but first im going to do some adventuring in this world I genned to try and get the catuis to civ....

(oh and my gardevior doesn't even need her gardivorite to beat anyone. I had to pull her out of my fight with zygarde because if I had had her attack a 4th time it would have been a KO. hidden power rocks.) 8)

You actually don't see the agony or curse spells outside of adv. mode.  Though having your fisherdwarf knocked unconscious, your dizzy exp. leader tumbling into a lake and your anvil stolen is still very, very Fun ;)

I've made a lot of fairy fun stuff.  Right now I'm working on nekomata, sentient cat-people will natural necromancy spells that will raise up the corpses lying about from the last siege.  But they'll still be friendly and trade with you!

I had made a creature called a Fey One on my old laptop that crashed. It was half the size of an elf, winged, threw fireballs, stole items, was opposed to life, crazed, only appeared in good biomes, and left behind a sapphire when killed. This thing caused quite a few problems in my fortresses. But worse was it fighting unicorns. Oh, the blood/sapphires...

well...that's not that much of a contradictory seeing as how the good biomes are kinda evil to. just in the guise of light....
like the hollow in terraria.....those pixies are SO annoying!

and fire balls....fireballs are awesome.

When I get home that disciples of armok is going into my raws. I plan on trying to make a creature to post useing humans as a base today as well so let's hope for some  fun
