Also, I died because I hid behind Tiruin N1, and so got seriously annoyed when everyone decided I hid behind ZU as it showed that no one properly read the Hider role info.
You kept saying this in dead chat as well.
The Hider dies if he hides behind scum
OR if he hides behind someone that gets killed at night. Assuming you hid behind zu, with no other killer in evidence, was the simplest logical explanation. Now, had Toaster told us our night kill had failed because he'd properly recorded Pufferfish's night action, I would have had proof there was another killer, but there still wouldn't have been anything to suggest you hid anywhere but behind the night kill. Since, you know, you didn't make your planned announcement about Tiruin.
Here's where I blew it, and how we'd have a scum win if I'd played it differently.
Night 3 destroyed our chances. I played too cautiously.
If I'd gone bold, I'd have taken the chance on sacrificing EP, and done the Strongman kill on ToonyMan. Assume TM follows through, EP dies, TM dies as well, and it's SBC, NF, scientist and me. Scientist claims TM block, I counter-claim Tracker, say I followed scientist and saw him target TM, scientist gets lynched, flips Town. I kill anyone, we win.
If TM didn't follow through, it doesn't even have to pretend to go to night phase.
First rule of scum play, which I always forget: everyone is ultimately expendable.
Excellent game, lots of fun. NF, you really pulled through at the end there.
