I really don't like retconning because you could very much as well talk to the other players about your language barrier >_> I mean some of us are not Japanese but polyglots, in game.

Nothing's actually being retconned, I don't think.  Apologies for suggesting it, as I've said before I'm relatively new to this sort of thing so I was just trying to figure things out.  The language barrier should be quite interesting anyway.
