Kyle sighs and goes over to the guy who keeps looking at him.
"Hello."
"
H-hello to you," the man says shrinking back a bit. The crowd begins to yell, it sounds like one of the competitors in round three has spontaneously combusted as a result of his powers. "
E-em, are y-y-you the one on the ho-ho-holo? K-Kyle J-J-Johnson?"
((I'm torn between Civilian and Blank, leaning towards the latter, because seriously, who would kidnap a kid to make her fight in a weird tournament?))
((Civilians are very rarely kidnapped to participate in the tournament as it is an easy, if dangerous, way to quickly climb the social ladder. If she would be entering into the tournament as a Civilian child, there is a good chance that her parents paid for her to enter.))
Angel tried to find a library, computer with Internet, or something that might let her answer some of these questions.
((Psh Books
))
It's not difficult for Angel to find an extranet site with documentation of her powers, various challengers throughout the years have shown great proficiency with True Form, Ordinary Weapons and Scythe. Much more rarely have people used To The Abyss With Ye, a large number of Keepers have banned it from their tournaments all together. Apparently, its use comes with the threat of psychological trauma resulting in dementia, delusions of grandeur, dissociative identity disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, sociopathic behavior and insomnia. It is theorized that the associated pocket dimension, known as the Abyss, is contaminated in some way, and the necessary mental link is inherently degrading to the minds of those in contact with it.
"OFCOURSE, THATSONLYPARTOFTHESTORY"
Cullodus watches Angel carefully, before walking off to do something else.
Namely, study the Book of Arcana for anything he might be able to glean about his memories.
It seems that they didn't do such a great job restoring his memories. His last coherent thought before dying was,
Why? The last thing he saw, was a man he recognized as a friend, slaying his allies. There was no audience, no applause, no cheers and no glory as his book of Arcana fell from his hands. These weren't the memories of a challenger.
