The guards look confused for a moment and they stop at just the right place for a massive explosion to rip through the hull and suck them all into the vacuum of space.  (67, 98, 49, 58)  The group holds on for dear life.  Kyle's metallic weight keeps him firmly grounded and Cullodus takes advantage of this.  Ada wedges herself in a door frame and Angel tries to cling on, but she is sucked off.  She was able to hold on long enough for the ships external decompression shielding to kick in however and is not sucked into space.  As the group recovers, the ship rumbles periodically.

That...could have been much, much worse.

Angel is fine, a little bruised from the tumble, her forehead is bleeding a bit, but nothing severe.

Also, she is terrified. Until she falls unconscious.


Angel wakes up, confused.
"Ada? Cullodus? Jon? ...Kyle?"

The residual embers from the fire are gradually being put out by the restored sprinkler system,  Angel is deep enough in the park that she can't immediately see the group.  What she can see, is a man standing with his back to her, looking in the direction of the fires.  He doesn't seem to be aware of her.

Angel gets up.
"Mister? What's going on?"

Keeper Moretti turns around. "Oh hello Angel, I'm afraid I didn't see you there."  His tone is facetious, but good natured as he looks up at the billowing smoke clouds collecting on the ceiling and being sucked into the air vents.  "A number of my old friends have come out to play, and they aren't playing fair."  He nods his head seriously,  "But cheaters never prosper, do they Angel?"

"Is that so?

Then why are you still around, Mister Moretti? Or was that slime's clear attempt to eliminate Miss Tezekiel uncounted?"
Opposite Moretti stood Cullodus, Eight of Swords in hand, expression neutral.

[MrVoid]

Suddenly Moretti is behind Cullodus his hand on her shoulder.  "I'm still here, because I wanted to talk with Angel, though you'll do nicely.  The slime is still around because I know that your friends will mete out his justice.  You attacked the air conditioning in an attempt to help yourselves, you needed help to get in.  Who helped you?"

Does Ada go with Kyle or to Cullodus?

Cullodus shakes him off, staring at him calmly.
"Nobody did. We managed to get inside ourselves."

[MrVoid]

His formerly pleasant smile widens into a sadistic grin.  "So one of your group has enough programing skill to develop a tri-quantum decryption/reencryption algorithm, which temporarily shut down my control over the entire ship?  And you managed to get ahold of one of the only blank identification cards for the air conditioning deck?" He is behind Cullodus again, his hand pressing down harder on her shoulder.

"It is not my fault you decided to hire and force into combat people who had lives outside of battle."
Cullodus' expression remains defiantly calm.

She would not break to some arrogant bastard, the same bastard who facilitated these war games.

Especially not to rat out someone who helped them.

Ada headed up after Kyle thinking it was probably best he wasn't alone
