"Just one. Is it possible for me to get the whole 'insectoid wild man' thing removed with little pain and or a low cost or do I just have to deal with it?"

"You'll get a free civilian body if you win. Your clone won't have your powers if you die. If you withdraw, the amount I'm paying you will be enough to pay for civilian documemtation and a body."

"Cool. I'll kind of miss the armor though. It looks really cool. And it's dang comfortable."

Jon laughs, "Win and you can keep your body as a souvenier.

"That sounds incredibly morbid and I like it."

"Excellent, Angel, do you more or less understand what's going on?  And what are plans are for tomorrow."

"I would like to know who Cullodus is but noooo

"A juice for the lady." he calls to the bartender who nods. "We were just discussing tactics for tomorrow, and that, if you don't mind, Ada will be sharing a room with you."
C looks dejected, but seems to be listening.  Angel can feel his disappointment.

"It's okay. What tactics were we talking about?"

"Anyway, the situation as it stands, is that assuming the slime dies or is forced to withdraw tomorrow, I am going to have clones made of any of you who die, memories as intact as they are now, along with setting you all up comfortably after the battle.  Unless you're the winner in which case you already will be comfortable.  That's how much money I'm going to make if I win."  He pauses for a moment. "Any questions?"

"Thanks!"

"Excellent, Angel, do you more or less understand what's going on?  And what are plans are for tomorrow."

"I think so?"

"I would like to know who Cullodus is but noooo

"I'm not sure how far back your memories go, but no one's said uncouth in a serious sentence for generations."

((Uncouth is one of those words that seems like it is falling out of favor, especially as people get further and further away from the middle ages.))

"Jon nods, more or less, just kill the slime guy before killing your friends.  But..." Jon goes into detail on the Slime's powers and unknown energy level with the group.

"She's right across the table from you, just ask!"
"Calm down, what's she gonna say?  'Hey the voices in my head are telling me to ask who you are.'  That'll just make her look crazy."

"Well, the point of these tournaments is to provide bloody entertainment.  Killing each other is just kind of expected.  And besides, winning lets you do cool stuff," he extends his hands, he raises his hands and flicks his fingers releasing a bunch of tiny fireworks.  "and lets you get deeper into the ship's controls.  Also I'm paying for you to have an extra life, so there's no real harm in trying.  Assuming that Angel doesn't drag you into the Abyss."

"Remember that... other request we told you about, Angel.  Yeah... you'll need to win.  Or we return to being to the Abyss for further mental torture."
