Angel's shadow friends don't seem interested in talking at the moment. Well at least not about anything important R, and S take turns needling each other, they eventually end up arguing about the color of the sky.
Ada's new body is... uncomfortable to say the least. Moving is certainly harder and it feels like even her bones have stretched grown somewhat.
Kyle rests well, his metal skin surprisingly comfortable to sleep in. Jon sends a good luck message to him.
Cullodus continues to search her memories. A great deal of fire is visible in most of the ones that aren't her own.
The rest of the evening passes uneventfully. There is some screaming from down the hall, but nothing that directly affects the group.
In the morning, they are called to the coliseum again for the two on two matches. As before, Keeper Moretti floats above the floor a winning smile plastered on his face. "LLLLLLLLLAADIIIEESSS AND GENTLEMEN, ARE YOU READY FOR THE SECOND GREATEST EVENING OF YOUR LIVES?" The crowd cheers wildly as he continues to grin. "Then lets hear it for our future Champions!" The crowd gets even wilder than before, "The rules for today are a two on two bracket rules, the two of the winning two person teams from the first round will fight the other successful team in the second round. Behold!" He declares as the screen above him displays the teams and their opponents.
Angel and Cullodus are on the same team. They are facing off against a heavy set man with a glower, and a woman that looks distinctly uncomfortable around him.
Ada and Kyle are together, as Jon said they would be. They are facing off against a girl who looks like a ghost from a classic horror film, and a brutish looking monstrosity with a massive stinger for a tail.
The blob and a rather unseemly looking gentleman are in another group against a man who seems to have lost his bottom jaw and what looks like a burnt corpse. Seeing that Ada not only survived his trap, but seems to look even better for it, has the blob appearing rather angry.
Kyle, as well as the rest of the men on the coliseum floor, has a distinctly hard time looking away from Ada. So much so that he has to expend energy to look away.
S and R assure Angel that they are watching her back for her.
