"Troubling, but not entirely unexpected.  Other big gamblers tend to send goons like that after potential threats to their chosen combatant.  I'll post some guards around her room."

"Oh, and could you tell me if the guards you hire notice anything odd? I tend to like to keep my fellows alive. Besides, I find her somewhat attractive."

"My men tend to be shoot first, ask questions later types.  But I'll have them report to you after they've left something a smoking wreck."

"Don't worry about it, I'll have everything in order."  It takes a moment for a second message to come through, "Though, if you intend to actually win the tournament, you're going to have to get over the fact that the girl is attractive.  They tend to resent it when you kill them."

Looking around the room, the group (Angel, Cullodus and Ada) can see that there are a number of I.S. pods.  Unlike the one that they tore to pieces, it seems that these are in various states of repair or inactivity, though one of them appears to be operational.  In the back of the room is a console.  Judging by the sounds coming from outside the corridor, the final match has ended.  There will shortly be a call for Powered curfew.

Does the group want to do anything with the room, or is the day over?

((Days after Christmas are not the best for Gming, I'm finding.  Also, I'm assuming that Elf means that he intends to get some information here, so I'm continuing on.))

Ada and Angel return to their rooms, but Cullodus stays behind to attempt to attain a greater understanding of these events.  She sits down at the Console, and begins to pick her way through the data.  It seems that the room belonged to a, now defunct, money lender, who would use the pods to prepare his debtors for hard labor and... other purposes.  As to who shut him down, its not exactly clear.  It seems that one of his debtors managed to prove that the interest rates were too high and he was essentially putting them in eternal slavery, rendering the business illegitimate and the lender a criminal.  The room is currently registered to an Amon Souny.

Ada and Angel return to the hallway where they fought the goons.  It seems that two more goons have taken their place and are waiting by the hole that was Ada's door.  The other mook's body seems to have been removed from the hallway.

The two live goons don't seem to notice Ada and Angel yet.

Angel stops and waits. If they look hostile, she immediately channels all her energy into Behold My True Form.

It looked like that slime hadn't finished messing with her yet, she wondered if it would ever give up. For the moment instead of attacking though she simply watched, though she got ready to fight if they were hostile.
