Considering your actions in recent times, we would be grateful to accept such an alliance. Furthermore, if you have any requests of us, we will try to provide for them.

Also Usec, I do think revising it so that a unit needs a point of attack for an ace to benefit from it (And same with defence). And speaking of defence, maybe it would be worthwhile to make it a 1d2 per point or something? Anything to make defence more... useful.

Attack is actually 1dX, where X = 2/point;

Also, I appear to have forgotten by own rules. Since the Terran Empire had several times more combat power than you, all of your Units in that battle were destroyed. Sorry about that....
The orders remain the same - any that are impossible.

-snip-

In the interest of fairness (and not having two players get knocked out of the game within two turns), I've decided that the Ace bonuses to attack/defence only apply if the Unit they're piloting has some attack or defence. So AASI-Alpha would be completely destroyed if it attacked L2, since the Millepatte it's flying has no attack or defence. Sorry (though you could easily send some other Units to attack the Moon next turn).

I hold that is not at all fair, as unit bonuses have been distinctly separated from ace bonuses, as per your analysis on hot-blooded, and had that been the case at the time of deployment, I could and would easily have loaded a SP-Arrow with the ace into the Millepatte. I do, however, have little choice but to abide, if that is your judgement.

You don't have to tell me that I'm flip-flopping all over the place here. I'm just trying to keep as many players in the game for as long as possible. Besides, this ruling is hardly an amazing reversal. Greatwyrm just has another turn to not die horribly, that's all.

On the same account that evilcherry  was allowed to retroactively change his turn on a mistake, all the more should I be allowed to retroactively load that SP-Arrow, as the situation has transpired by factors entirely outside my control and ability to influence.

Alas, it is the following that is the true concern of mine: far be it from only delaying GWG's demise by a turn, this sudden change effectively allows other players to send Lune reinforcements, as I'd then be suddenly unable to prevent deployment in Lune.; that is, in and of itself, an amazing reversal.

I did, after all, give forethought to detail that neither of them could receive any reinforcements I could not wipe out immediately. With this, that is entirely jeopardized. That I might lose 10 RP and 10 Production on delaying a player's demise is largely manageable, that his demise may suddenly become entirely avoidable is another altogether.

Ugh... Fine. Which SP-Arrow do you want to load into the Millepatte? It's not like GreatWyrm can receive any reinforcements though. Your (completely useless) Millepatte is still blocking access to the Moon, so nobody can deploy Units in any of his provinces this turn.

Eh, one SP-arrow is fine. Fact is it doesn't change where the ace is holed up (AKA the millepate)

Thank you, assume whichever SP-Arrow is of your preference to have been loaded with the ace, as it will have no discernible difference. If you'd rather I just pick it, let's go with one of E8's.

As for the matter of deployment: due to GWG's charge, the blockade would be temporarily removed for the next turn. Lune would then be unblocked, and while I'd move my prototype to reestablish the blockade, due to the specific ruling that units deployed through a field that then becomes blockaded still get deployed, the reinforcements would arrive in GWG's pool. The units' deployment would, in fact, coincide with the prototype's move into one of Lune's provinces, enabling me to counter it; alas, depending on the number of units available, the deployment could be spread across two provinces, effectively assuring one of them would happen.

That said, if you'd really rather GWG not be faced this turn, reinforcements impeded, I can delay the attack one turn for the same purpose.

Blah, finally. Let me know how much I've messed up, okay?

It was fun having you Sjm.

Also, since Azthor's and Greatwyrm's fleets were trying to attack each other, I flipped a coin to figure out which province combat took place in.
