Name: Alice Baskerville (Kansa)
Caught Pokemon: Swinub(Furio), Vivillion(Dahlia), Floette(L'Belle), PorygonZ(Quercus)
Items: 6x Pokeballs, 2x Life Orb, 2xLeftovers, TM26: Earthquake
Routes Travelled: Sankt Forest, Ruined Manor(forest), Evil Labs
Badges: Bug

Alice walked slowly through the labs, she was beginning to wish that she had taken a different route. It wasn't exactly the nicest to walk through and the entire place put her on edge. It was too late now though she had already gone too far in to turn back now, so she simply sighed and pressed on through the oppressive place. After a while she was sure that she had gotten lost, it seemed like she had been walking for hours and she was making no progress whatsoever. She wasn't even sure which way was out any more. She entered room after room and they all looked the same to her but finally she entered one which was different.

A large tube dominated the centre of this room and inside it was a strange pokemon that Alice had never seen before. It looked like it was sleeping and oblivious to the world. She drew closer to the creature wondering why on earth it was here. When she reached its container she stretched out her hand and laid it on the glass tube. Suddenly the pokemon's eyes flew open and Alice quickly stepped backwards in surprise. It let out a strange noise and broke out of the glass tube. Quickly she reached for her poke-balls and summoned her friends to help her. It was a tough battle but finally her pokemon were victorious and the pokemon fell to the ground and Alice threw a poke-ball to catch it. The pokemon flew into the poke-ball and after a few tense seconds of waiting it was successful.

Still wondering what on earth the pokemon was she drew out her pokedex to check, it was apparently a PorygonZ, a man-made pokemon. She guessed that explained why it had been in that tube. A sigh escaped her she had a new friend but still she had no idea how to escape this place, resigned to the fact however she continued to walk hoping that she would get out of here soon.

It just makes me think that it's a really, really good thing the next branch is Mountains, Highlands, and the Foundry, even if it was the purest coincidence.  Surreptitious stones, ahoy.  ^_^

I do not fear tip-toeing-tectonics!

discreet debris is just a small hindrance

I mean, who loses to camouflaged cobblestone?

Flaming falcons. That's who.

I do believe incendiary insects also have some issue.

Blazing birds and molten moths indeed.

But this is all simply naught. I need not worry about Talonflame, as Crawdaunt is boss.

I'll hang out on Showdown too.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Looks like there's a little group of us on Showdown at the moment!

The sleep clause really helps in these later rounds.

Starpy pulls it off again. MVPs seem to be Sheldon and Starpy, most rounds.
Although...
