You are drifting along a current.
You can't see.
You can't hear.
You can't smell.
You can only feel.
Technically, you are not breathing.
You are absorbing the oxygen in the water as it passes by you.
You do not have a mouth.
You can not move.
You are little more than a single celled organism.
But you can evolve.

Sign up Sheet:
Species Name: This is what your species will be referred to. You can always change this later, as you evolve.
Color: This is to differentiate yourself from the other creatures floating around in the depths.
Starting Evolutions: You begin the game with 3 Evolution Points. You can spend these on evolving your creature into whatever you can feasibly get it to. For starters, though, you'll want some way of ingesting food. Mouths are traditional for this. After that, some basic sensory organs never hurt anyone, or methods of movement.
When you evolve your creature, try to be as specific as possible. There are many ways a creature can look and function, and diversity is useful.
Nothing in the game will give a straight +x to actions, it is all based on what you're going up against. You may get a +1 against one type of creature, but not against another, depending on varying circumstances.
The game will use 10 sided-dice. Overshoots on 10.

Color: Grey
Starting Evolutions:
Trunk-mouth
Eye-tusks
Elephant hoof things
Color: A greenish, vomit-like color.
Starting Evolutions: A star shaped proboscis for ingesting foodstuffs, Capable of sensing electric fields, Capable of discharging electric energy for small amount of movement.
Color: maroon.
Starting Evolutions: A four-tined jaw for holding onto food while it is absorbed, A bulbous sack behind the mouth containing proto-eyes and an echolocation organ, a battery of narrowing tubules through which water is squeezed rapidly to move.
Color: Purple
Starting Evolutions:
-Hardened spikes all around the outside of the cell membrane
-Increased reproduction rate
-Many tiny filter mouths in the areas where spikes don't cover (should be small)
Color: Pastel yellow
Starting Evolutions:
-amoebic pseudopodes
-jellyfish-like light sensing organs
-a pincer-esque jaw, much like a bulldog ant
Color: Navy
Starting Evolutions:
- has a thick cell wall formed out of peptidoglycan.
- possesses a set of fimbria that allow it to attach to various substrates.
- can form tough endospores. can perform oxygenic photosynthesis.
Color: Pale blue (or whatever blue stands out enough to be easily visible)
Starting Evolutions:
-Flagellum surrounding half of the cell (opposite the mouth), allowing it to propel itself around and giving it rudimentary temperature and chemical sensing.
-Short proboscis on one end of the cell to absorb nutrients.
-Longer (barbed?) flagellum surrounding the proboscis that have evolved to latch onto other cells and pull them in to the proboscis.
Color: Cyan
Starting Evolutions: Mouth-Eyes-Jet (A body part that absorbs water, and shoots it out behind, creating a rocket-like way of propulsion.
Color: Light green. Different than the vomit-green.
Evolutions: Chlorophyll, Gillmouth (an opening in the front of the animal that leads to slits on the sides, which filter out oxygen and organic detritus), Electrovoyance (senses electrical fields)
A green axlotl-like creature. It has some ridges on its back.
Color: Orange.
Starting Mutations:
Ocelli (light-sensitive spots), Pulsation (for movement, jellyfish style), and a small hole for ingestion of nutrients.
