Say something nice. Like, maybe... 'Okay, I think I can try help.'

Home in on prayer. Acquire wife's life force in the least painful manner possible.
You consider an option, but... no. There must be a reason for it. Though you are only a newborn, confused about the world, you feel that doing that would be wrong. You feel the need to speak to your beseecher. What will you say?
"Please hold. Godly technicians are en route."

Just slay both the woman and the man. Paradise awaits, and a well-reasoned mind would feel the benefits of sudden and painless death outweigh the costs. Also, slap GM for plot railroading.

Use your powers of reason to discover why his wife is ill and if it can be cured.

-1. What kind of god are we? A god of Chaos, who kills off all his followers before we can get any mana?

A three year old just made an artifact doll from the skull of his dead kitten. I can only assume the mind control lasted past death.

Say something nice. Like, maybe... 'Okay, I think I can try help.'

You speak to the man, surprising him.

*I think I can try to help.*
"What? ...There really is a god! O lord, please tell me your name!"

You think it over. You were just born, after all. But soon a name comes to you.

*My name... is Keith.*
"Thank you lord. Follow me, to my village, and I shall show you my wife."

The man begins to walk, and you follow him. Soon, you arrive at his village, and he enters a hut of some sort, and looking inside you see his wife. She seems to be covered in some sort of strange shifting redness. This aura makes you feel angry for some reason. (Roll: 17)

You realize the man's wife is covered in an aura of Chaos. You feel an opposition to this, it repulses you, and you know now that you are a god of Reason.

*Your wife is made ill by Chaos. I think I can remove it.*
"Thank you, Keith, my lord! I, Jeff, shall pray for you as the deed is done."

Followers: 1

With Jeff praying, you begin your work. (Roll: 17) You feel the Chaos lifting off of her and dissipating. The woman sits up, and Jeff's wife is healed.

"Oh, dear, what happened? Am I better?"
"Yes my dear," says Jeff, "You are healed! It is a miracle of the god Keith!"
*Yes, I have healed you. I am Keith.*

Followers: 2

You feel power flowing into you.

You gain a mana counter!

Mana: 10
Mana per day: 10

With two followers gained, your adventure begins.

Naitre II next.

See, he didn't even believe in us. We could have just eaten his soul in a calm and calculated manner and been done with it.

There's something really amusing about someone named Jeff praying to Keith. I think it's because they sound so average.

I will slap you back. It's only the beginning, railroading is to be expected.

See, he didn't even believe in us. We could have just eaten his soul in a calm and calculated manner and been done with it.
Away, troublemaker. Your kind is not welcome here.

Find a man/woman of science or alchemy and subtly show them the reason in the world.

Or, Consider looking for and helping the younger (teenagers/young adults) so they will follow you, and develop stronger faith in you over time.

The problem is, Jeff and his wife only believe because of a miracle. Any god could've done that, and gained both their following. Thus, they follow us not because we are powerful but because we helped them. My guess is that they are older? Speaking to the younger people in the village will allow their faith to develop as they grow and create stronger followers.
